I love watching these Chaps play Hitman in the morning because you don't miss much if you leave it off at a part, and it passes time while I wait for the High School second bus.
Why are people so against the Elusive Target mechanic? The definition of "elusive" is "difficult to find, catch or achieve." If there was a replay until you memorize the layout option then that's just "a target." People saying it removes the fun of it are just being daft. Grinding something repeatedly until you find a method that makes it impossible to fail is hardly an idea of fun. Completing something that's designed to be challenging is far more rewarding than using a foolproof method.

Because then you are permanently losing actual content. I can't ever kill Gary Busey or any of the Elusive Targets if I didn't get the game right away and play it when it happened. Content is permanently lost because it's a 'do now or never' BS. If you want something that constantly changes every time you play it, make procedurally generated missions with generic targets but changing means of necessity to kill them. The Elusive Target missions could be and SHOULD be regular missions all on their own.

As I said, they're called Elusive Targets. If they're made a constant mission that can be replayed over and over like you're asking for then that's simply a Target as there's absolutely nothing elusive about them. You're literally bitching about a developer giving additional optional material to do in the game. And people wonder why folk complain about people acting entitled...

i wish you could make massive traps in this game. For example, you wait until the target steps into a loop of tow cable, then you push a fridge off a balcony so that it pulls the tow cable taut, slicing the target in half.
I love these videos. You guys should try Hitman Roulette. It's like a slightly more forgiving version of the Elusive Target concept, but just as entertaining.

the sub-sonic round thing is kinda true. there are 2 main sounds from a gunshot. A) the explosion and expanding gases from the muzzle (the suppressor helps muffle this). B) the 'crack' of the bullet. this occurs with any round that travels faster than the speed of sound (super-sonic). a sub-sonic round doesn't 'crack' but will 'whizz'. a sub-sonic round, fired through a suppressor will be much quieter, but would still be around to 80db. still pretty loud, and definitely audible.
i like how the shortest video of them doing these hitman lets play videos is about 35 minutes yet the average player could probably master the same mission in like 2 or 3 minutes maybe. them screwing around in this game is hilarious.
It's funny watching people watch him hanging on the outside of the building and they don't immediately call for help. :P The can't restart at a certain point is a nice feature. Watching Gavin play games is great, because it's amusing some of the stunts he pulls (same for Ryan). aaand fail. Unfortunately. Poor Gavin. :P The Ryan speedrun was hilarious.
Spent 25 minutes scouting this, then beat it in 1 minute 58 seconds. How did Gavin not beat this? He's much better at it than I am >.< Enter hotel, run upstairs, grab fire extinguisher along the way, drop it near where they are together with a breach charge, wait for them to walk passed, boom then run away.
