Matt deserves to be where he’s at right now. That man has worked so hard to make entertaining content for us for 8 years. People tend to forget Matt was making them maps since 2012-2013
I agree that the AH players have stepped up but the company as a whole ahead gotten more and more corporate tbh with the exception of firing or moving Fiona to a different position when the vast majority of their community was asking them too, and is still asking.
There's so many more things you can do with the twisty and gluey mechanics, don't let this game die out. I feel like it could definitely run 100+ episodes
In this conglomerate world I understand the difficulty in creating pure content. I think RT is doing the best they can with what they have and its still enjoyable.
Also they haven't played with the level creator things at all! There's so much you can do with both custom rules and custom levels. I've wanted to build a "Kevorkian Postmortem Rube Goldberg Machine" level where you pick a path and are immediately killed, and which path you choose at what time determines if your lifeless corpse is delivered to the flag or not lol
I think you guys are all at your best when you enjoy what you're playing, so I hope you continue playing what you want to play! I know it's not always possible but it's fun to see you guys happy!

Yeah I'm not sure about all stars in 6 hours. World record is 1:38:28, and that likely includes both the speedrunners being insane at the game and using a lot of exploits. Factoring those out 6 hours still might be really hard for the average player.

They're professional in the literal sense that they make money, yeah, but they generally play games to be entertaining, not good. Exceptions are here and there of course with certain members and certain genres, but I feel it's safer to assume Matt is closer to an average skill level with a game like Mario 64. Plus 6 hours might be doable for an average player anyway, I don't know. Trying to guess just by looking at a WR time isn't easy. Hence why I said "might".

Is it just me or does the rotation speed of objects slow down the more that is stuck to them? Around the 37:43 mark. I noticed that the "Sticky Wheel" in the middle of the map that had everything stuck to it was spinning noticeably slower than the one on the right side of the map that only had a bale of hay stuck to it. Is that a mechanic in the game where the more you stick to an object, the slower it moves due to it being "weighed down"?

More graphics, less gameplay. That's the motto of the increasingly greedy and lazy gaming company. More money, more microtransactions, more DLC, less refinement. But hey, if the game looks good, IGN will give it a 10/10.

Games won't survive if people don't like them, and the fastest way to kill a franchise and a company is to ignore the people that buy your games. This isn't taking into consideration the fans of a franchise, the people denying or praising flaws, and the general population that doesn't care.

You guys should really try / do an entire level with just cannons only. Maybe a few other things like blocks, but mainly just cannons. I think that would be fun if you throw in cheese and moving parts, would be great imo.
