    Why is Mike acting like this is some big mystery?! He has hardly played any football in college or the pros, has a worse completion percentage than Tim Tebow did, took himself out of the game, and he’s immature…look up his responses when asked about being told he needs to slide by the coaches. Flacco said that because he knows AR probably doesn’t listen to anyone.

      AR thought a haircut would make him play better.

    Maybe Joe told him, but Richardson didn't seem to "hear" him.

    I don’t care about Richardson one way or the other, but the colts lucked out and get to play Flacco now. Still wish he was with my Browns. Go colts!!

    Joe Flacco was right when he was with the Jets. "It's not my job to mentor" His job is to play QB and give the Colts the chance to win.

      Exactly, and to think that Ryan Tannehill said the same thing in Tennessee after they drafted Malik Willis yet he got absolutely blasted for saying that. The hypocrisy is unreal.

      100% correct. This is a misnomer many fans have. That the vet always takes the rookie kid under his wing, coaches him. Sorry, but it's the QB coach, the OC, the HC, and in many cases private coaches, that truly mentor and bring the QB along. A vet can help, they can set examples, and some do at the very end of their career when they know they are not going to start (Case Keenum in Houston playing behind CJ Stroud for example), but it really the QB coach that is constantly interacting with, talking with, sifting through film and playbooks with the young QB, all QBs really. Colts QB coach Cam Turner even spends a considerable amount of time working with Flacco. That's his job.

      I think a lot of people don’t want to give unsolicited advice. I’m sure if Richardson asked Flacco for advice, he gives it.

    Flacco already said AR5 doesn't even know what questions to ask. There is a disconnect. The Tapping out is a sign. Remember, Richardson constantly says he's "One-of'One", the "Best mobile QB in the league right behind Lamar Jackson". Sounds like he's reading press clippings of his potential over and over, just reeks of immaturity.

      A “mobile QB” that can’t complete simple passes is really a RB.

      I also think he's probably been surrounded by people telling him how great he is and how he's going to light up the league. But when he got put in there, he wasn't prepared, at all.

      @@TB12710 He gets hurt, or dinged up, every other game. Did not see him in college? A RB has to be able to take the hits, so he's not even that.

    When he said that he thought he was a great passer might be evidence that he’s not listening. He needs to work on timing, accuracy, and make reads faster.

    Richardson certainly has emotional immaturity problems. He seems like the kind of guy who is willing to learn. I hope the Colts start Flacco for the rest of the year, maybe give him a two year extension, and draft a QB in the first or second round and keep their options open for 2025 or 26 or 27 onward. Hopefully AR is the long-term answer, but Ballard/Steichen can't hang their hat on that. Draft two QBs and trade the one who doesn't pan out... like Garoppolo behind Brady.

    • @PhilAndersonOutside
      @PhilAndersonOutside 6 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      I think they saw his potential. But this is not a QB with potential who hasn't quite played consistent, or truly great but just might at some point (like Lawerence, Herbert). Richardson is more of a "project" QB the way Terrell Pryor, Malik Cunningham, or Logan Thomas were. Granted, some physically gifted QBs who run and pass do work into good QBs. Colin Kaepernick comes to mind. But its really rare. Richardson was also drafted absurdly high. His physical size, and arm strength, wow'd scouts at the Combine, and the Colts got giddy, thinking that would magically transfer to the NFL.

    Well Geno Smith was a giant D-bag, flamed out and sat for 10 years. Now he's starting. I still don't think he's all that great, but he's "made it". Maybe Richardson can take that example. Or not. Up to him.
