Well, he actually does this before you fight him. (He transforms into dark Rayman and chases you.) Plus, I heard rumors of Mr. dark kicking the bucket at the end.
“You mean testimony as in telling you what I know, or do you mean testimony as in “test a mony”? What exactly is a “mony” anyway and why are they being tested so much-“ “Do you want me to find you guilty and send you to death row now?!”
sonic cd used a tecnique where they would play samples in between rewinding songs to break the awkward silence. which means they could have done it like it's heard here.
+Darkfreedom von Moor The only reason why the characters had no limbs in Rayman 1 was because it was complicated to animate for Ubisoft at the time (don't ask why, I don't know what issues they had, cause I can barely animate anything without limbs) so they skipped the limbs. Rayman keeped the design mostly because he was the main character, while the later characters in the game had limbs. Interestingly however, if you look at the Intro cutscene for Rayman M, you notice that Globox's feet are actually not attached to his body. So some characters still have this feature of no limbs.
that depends entirely on how you see it. some people think that he summoned a bunch of mixed-up minions for the battle, while others believe that they were actually Mr. Dark himself transformed for battle.
Make a proper rayman 4 with razobeard mr dark and andré, stop the rabbit bs, all those rayman games in which those bad guys appeared are much more mature, interesting and challenging than the last rayman games which have been released.
SuperPiposaru They are still very childish. I have seen it first hand, watching my 8 year old cousin play it. When I was 5 I played medievil on playstation 2, a game with zombies, swords, bows, guns, magic, the undead, witchery, dragons, evil magicians and sorcerers and so on. It was a really great game, a difficult game, a challenging game, a game that made you thought with intricate puzzles and labyrinths, full of dungeons, new enemies and bosses with speicifc weaknesses. Old Rayman games were great too, possesing many of the traits I have described here too. You know what pisses me off? Nowadays game producers treat children as if they were stupid, or too sensitive for games with fights involved in them or both. Just dull, lame, boring games in which everyone is everyone elses friend, magic, happiness blablabla. The puzzles, the questions, the "fights", everything is so ridiculously easy, there is no challenge, no reason to play them.
+Max Payne This is the same series where the final boss of the first game hides out in a world made out of cake, you can ride plums on lava, and washing up powder gives you superpowers... I've played the Rayman games nearly all my life and I'm perfectly happy with Origins and Legends. Some of the most brilliant platformers in years.
@TicTacZac12 The only version in which Mr. Dark escapes is the prototype Atari Jaguar version, in the other versions, especially the GBC version, he dissolves.

***** Doesn't really prove much, it's just a health bar.
Well, he actually does this before you fight him. (He transforms into dark Rayman and chases you.) Plus, I heard rumors of Mr. dark kicking the bucket at the end.
+Jon Deardoff And exactly who told you that Mr. Dark and Dark Rayman were the same?
You can clearly see Dark Rayman die before you fight Mr. Dark.
The 1 First rayman game Will Always be The Best in my eyees
Well it has the best Villain
mr.dark: i spy with my eyes a land scape i can conquer easily. time to do just that!.
Such an underrated video game villian.
“You’re doomed, rayman.”
Ugh. This game is just like crash 1. Brutal, but worth playing
The greatest boss fight soundtrack ever. 25 years strong still the best. Maybe die hard trilogy central park is close enough
To me, this will always be Vex Vulper's theme
finally, found th one comment about Vex Vulper!
I find it funny how mr dark’s section of the game is easier than band land or anything after that world
**VINNIE BOY**
?
THE BOOGEYMAN
Your're doomed rayman.....
Damn, I really thought he's gonna be in Origins...at least we have him in Rayman Mini
He was planned to return, then he was replaced by Ales Mansay, then the story was shortened
Damn. So good memories. I feel old now.
" You're doomed Rayman! "
I came here from PW contempt of court
Alas- Flirts*
Mr.dark- WHO POSTED FANDOM IN THE GLADE OF DREAMS
... i totally understand the magician-teensie from rayman origins, why he's such a huge fan of Mr.D *-*
“You mean testimony as in telling you what I know, or do you mean testimony as in “test a mony”? What exactly is a “mony” anyway and why are they being tested so much-“
“Do you want me to find you guilty and send you to death row now?!”
Ubisoft wasn't lazy, it wasn't possible due to PSX Audio limitations
idk about that. i heard longer sound tracks for ps1 that other games had. the ps1 was my first game console lol
sonic cd used a tecnique where they would play samples in between rewinding songs to break the awkward silence.
which means they could have done it like it's heard here.
If Rayman is included in Smash Ultimate (I mean as a playable character), I want this music in the game
Me too!! It's pretty awesome :D
What if they decided to throw in Mr. Dark as his Classic Mode boss?
dae vulper?
Got here from Turnabout Scapegoat for Vex Vulpor XD
I always pictured Mr. Dark to be the previous hero of the Glade of Dreams before Rayman and he was tired saving it over and over so he just rebelled
Good news!! Mr. dark is back in Rayman mini!!
why do all the new rayman characters have limbs...i would like it more if they don't
I'm a little out of the loop. Who is this Vex Vulper and why is he so heavily referenced? Oh, by the way, awesome track and thanks for looping this!
Vex Vulper is a character from a fan-made Phoenix Wright game called Phoenix Wright: Contempt of Court. This song is his theme song from that game.
Vex Vulper is a glorious man superior Rayman and even Mr. Dark.
Not to mention he was possibly the most awesome looking villain in the Rayman series?
that depends entirely on how you see it.
some people think that he summoned a bunch of mixed-up minions for the battle, while others believe that they were actually Mr. Dark himself transformed for battle.
The game never explains what happened to him.
@k1l3r10 In the Atari Jaguar versione he flees, in the other versions he dissolves, and it's made quite explicit in the GBC version.
I know it sounds oddly triumphant....
But you'd have to be awesome just to REACH him.
2:08 This Music looks like We Are Number One.
HOLY SHITO
Make a proper rayman 4 with razobeard mr dark and andré, stop the rabbit bs, all those rayman games in which those bad guys appeared are much more mature, interesting and challenging than the last rayman games which have been released.
+Max Payne they DID stop the rabbid stuff in the new rayman games. -_-
SuperPiposaru They are still very childish.
Max Payne who cares. the games are fun, who cares if their childish.
+SuperPiposaru ...
The last picture is the coolest
