    Warp for previewing, TS when you’re ready to commit the sample to a BPM, got it 👍🏽

    Great video. I love the convenience of warp, having it built in to the program edit mode, but it's clearly just for previews and figuring out where you need it set so you can set it with time stretch. Make sure "Pro Ten" is selected under sample options in the menu. The sound quality difference is striking. Gotta keep it CRUNK boi

    Nice video! i down know if you can tell me what i am doing wrong but let say i chop a drum break on the kick and the snare and then i warp each pieces i always end up with the chop's transients all f*** up, if i warp the whole break like you did, i end with only the first downbeat's transient that sound weird even if i keep the original bpm... i dont know what i am missing out but if i use a pre-made patched phrase that came from a sample pack its all good

    Fam! Is there Anyway to Warp Individual chop samples , once you use the Pad Parameter option? Loop are nice and even Grooves.. However sometimes I have a Nice chop sample , but I desire to increase my BPM

    • @marcuselbow
      @marcuselbow  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@marcuselbow Can you please make a Video Warping Chop samples.
      Please! 😎 You channel is very Nice I can see every single button you press etc, I’m a visual learner.. I’m hoping Akai will do a Software update where you can set your MPC to Pad Parameter in the Preference Menu.. plus add 16 audio tracks for Vocals with punch in and out feature..
      a Baby Tascam ! I want to do everything in 1 unit ..

  • @Jonathan_Doe_

    I read that there’s two algorithms you can select between for the warping or time stretching? Apparently one of them is meant to be like the old school Akai samplers because some people like the glitched sound?

    • @marcuselbow
      @marcuselbow  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’ve heard Serato Sampler is awesome! To be honest the MPCs aren’t the best when it comes to this. 👊🏾

    • @SergioMartinez-el8kg
      @SergioMartinez-el8kg 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      idk if he was using the mpc on controller mode or standalone, but on controller mode the timestretching quality on warp mode is definitley on par with serato imo.

    I appreciate this video. I had a question regarding the pad perform key selection for some reason I can't select the A# but it shows in the key list but it won't show once I select it. Idk what or how to make it A#?

    Timestretch is a finalizing tool, and way too inconvenient for my production style.
    I always use warp until I’m just about done, then if necessary, I would time stretch before printing

    Yeah I’ll stick to my BeatMaker 3 and Acid Pro DAW. AKAI is too complicated and workflow is slow. Sample workflow is very simple and NOT time consuming.
