That ruger American is holding better groups at 200yrds than a lot of rifles I’ve seen hold at 100yrds. Awesome video as always and great shooting 😎👍

The ruger american is insane for the price point. I got .41" with ELD Match. There's videos on youtube of guys with it in the heatseeker chassis breaking .25." awesome gun.
I have a 20" BCA build that surprised me, I tried 5 different ammo I did not try the old tried and true Core Loct
I have 2 Ruger American rifles (Predator 22-250 and the Go Wild in 6.5 Creed calibers). Both shoot consistently half submoa 3 shot groups at 100 yards all day long with my handloads. Great rifles. Good vid WTW. Look forward to seeing more.
If you can find comparable bullets weigh, like 140 grain in core lock tipped, a comparison between 6.5 Creedmoor and 7mm. 08 would be a great video. They are close, so a practical test of accuracy at 100 and 200 yards would be very interesting.

Okay so let me give you the takeaway here!
1) Who Tee Who is very skilled and talented as to firearms!
2) as to Ruger American 🇺🇸 rifles . Cheap doesn’t mean it’s not accurate!
3) good ammunition is good ammunition!
4) your rifle/ rig is only as accurate as you are! In this case Who Tee Who is way the hell better than the vast majority of rifle men! Enjoy!

You should look into the Creedmoor's grand daddy, the 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser round. Great shooter. 7.5x55 Swiss rocks too.

I'm late to the party on this comment, but I just gotta say that it's amazing how far Ruger has come. I managed a gun shop back in the 90s, and most of my customers despised Rugers, complaining that they just didn't shoot well. And they didn't. A sub-MOA group was unheard of, and I practically couldn't give them away. I don't know what they changed with their barrels, but they sure are doing it right nowadays.
I’m really impressed by how well the Ruger American shoots on an overall basis. It really doesn’t matter what caliber you get one in.

My ruger American 'go wild' is by far my favorite hunting rifle for longer range. Plus I love the go wild camo stock.
I have been shooting regular Core Lokt since about 1970, good stuff, the tipped is hard to find but the regular Rem CL is here so I still buy it

Watching a lot of your videos I am considering getting a ruger American. I don't have much money and you have demonstrated that it could be an option that I can have but would still be quality. Thanks for your work it helps us guys that can't try out tons of guns to find a good one.

@@jamesirwin6952 243 is great. So is 6mm creedmoor. I have videos up taking big deer with both of those. 350 legend and 7mm-08 also great
It would be cool to see how the tipped perform in some ballistic gel vs the O.G. core lokt. Also maybe the Norma whitetail in the ballistic gel since that is readily available

Hootie hoo I have a TC Compass in 7MM-08 with 5R rifling which really shoots great. I don't think I have seen you shoot one of these rifles yet. But then again I might have missed it! When I bought this gun it was really reasonable right there with the Ruger American.
I have a tc compass in 300wm and in 338wm. Lotsa videos on both

WhoTeeWho love the videos man. You are one of the great ones. I have one question, not to be a stickler, but when measuring groups aren't you supposed to measure from center hole to center of your furthest two bullet holes? Or if you want to get real technical, measure from from the outside edge of the furthest two holes and then subtract your bullet diameter? That one 200 yd group on the weatherby looked more like a 4-5" group. Anyways love the content, keep it up man!
That is exactly how I measure them. Center to center of the two furthest holes

Always sir, been watching for years now. Always good content. I'm gonna try your zeroing method for 100yds. Seems to be successful quite often. If you're ever out in Montana again and want to hunt some public land with a regular ol guy stop by missoula and I can show you some spots around this area.

Who tee, how’s about a Mossberg patriot 6.5? Thoughts?
I've only had a patriot in 308 and 7mm prc, but they both did good
@@WHOTEEWHO I recently bought a Mossberg patriot 6.5 creedmoor. I’ve put about 10 rounds through just playing around. Have yet to actually sight it in and go from there. But just those 10 rounds were smooth sailing, lite recoil and awesome trigger squeeze.

A little unrelated to this video, but I shoot a Remington 30-06 with 150 grain Hornady American whitetail ammo. Most shots i take are 100 yards or less I normally sight it in dead on at 25 cause I’ve been told it will put you dead on at 100, but recently I found out that isn’t the case. Also i don’t have access to 100 yard range so at 25 yards how can I sight in to be dead on at 100?
At 25 yards your hits would need to be roughly one inch low to be on at 100
