So kev, just by seeing this video, I think playing with gears would be more beneficial for the 200mph rc car, the direct drive is cool but I don’t think your really benefiting from it. I have seen an aluminum dual motor mount in the infraction and limitless, and you could easily run it. Bigger pinions and a small center gear would grenade that car. I’m by no means an expert, but it’s no secret that bigger gears makes the car faster. The only problem is space for the esc’s and batteries. Loving the videos 🤙🏼

Kev have you ever thought of making your own rolling road ??? I know it's more fun outside letting them rip but for the record cars it might help set up the engine and gearing ...
If you know the kv, voltage and gear ratio then you know as much as you’d get from a rolling road but what you don’t get is the aerodynamic drag etc which makes it a tad pointless.
R u talking about a Treadmill lol not sure but I can see someone doing speed runs in there garage

you should check out digital fpv system by DJI however latency is greater then fatshark analog depending on the case you'd like to use the system for. for high speed runs lowest latency will be analog fpv system

Nice work Kev! Don't you have an XO-1 kicking around somewhere? Take that to the speed runs. The XO-1 is fun when you get up to speed and feel it hunkering down, because of its aerodynamics. It's actually more stable the faster you go.

It will make it faster for sure, but remember there is a reason why the manufacturer put the gearing on it has. Making it bigger also means the engine is gonna become hotter, up till the point it might die. Be very careful
