Played this video in reverse to see if it would sound like she was pronouncing it properly.... the answer is no. I was really hopeful that it would work but NOPE. She has skills but she is just reading it backwards. She is not pronouncing it backwards if that makes any sense.
Yeah, it kinda annoys me when people think those two are the same thing. For example, the word “rate”: saying it backwards would sound like “ee-tar”, while truly reversing it would sound more like “tay-r”.

We don’t say the sentence backwards but we still say each word backwards and so far no one’s figured it out. They know that we can speak backwards but because of how fast it is no one in our family can translate because once they translate one word in their head we already finished two sentences (except for words like eye, pop, and other words that are the same forwards and backwards. As well as easy words like car being rac, snow being wons, etc.)

Because when you’re saying words backwards no one knows what the word is forwards unless you’re also visualizing the words. If I say “smeckdoff” which obviously isn’t any word spelt backwards, people just hear gibberish, so for the person I’m talking to (my cousin since we can both do this) they would know the word I’m saying, but everyone else would have to take the time to visualize and reverse just one word while we’re already several sentences ahead.
My daughter when she began school for the first time her teacher called me in to tell me that she was writing backwards but the correct forwards way. So she would start where she should but wrote the words the correct way forwards yet backwards. So backwards would be the word backwards but spells starting with the s at the end going from left of the paper to the right.
