Of all the watches people like, this one is the most practical with the most features with the most durability, for the lowest price. This watch simply is unbeatable at the present.
It is God Tier watch.. If u dont know what a Casio 5610 is then u must learn of the Gem u get for such impossibly small amount.. Most radio controlled watches go for at least 300, let alone 200m water, solar power, day, date, alarm, stopwatch, world time.. Just perfect.
These watches receive the signal better if there is a radio amplifier inside the strap, such as your wrist, or a metal cylinder or bar. I noticed if I didn’t put the watch in my upstairs window, it wouldn’t update. But if I wore it at night, my arm would amplify the signal. Also placing the watch around a piece of metal such as a weight dumbbell bar or a bicycle handle will do the same.
Although long buttons are usually easy to press, they can make a watch look cheap all the time. Therefore, I prefer short buttons, especially since I don't use them daily. So, the GW-M5610U is a good choice for me.
1)I agree about the GW-5600 upper left button. I was frustrated with it. I cut the rubber off below the button with a thin knife blade. Now I can use this button. 2)I used a black "Sharpie" permanent marker to color over the white G-Shock & Protection text. I pushed the felt tip of the marker into the recessed text to black it out. Now it looks a little more stealth. 3)For me, the Month/Date works better for me as I create computer files all day long. It follows the Year/Month/Date format if you want to find which file is the newest.
Got the same module on the GW5000U. For me it's the perfect module for a digital watch. Casio do make square g-shocks with better and easy to use buttons: the all stainless steel squares or the ones that are have a stainless steel bezel (GM5600)
Nice review. At 7:50: the M/DD, DD/M switch is part of the "U" update, This was not possible on the previous, "non-U" model. Most square G-Shocks have 4 mm buttons. Metal G-Shocks, like the GMW-B5000D have 5 mm buttons, which are a little easier to press Many non square G-Shocks, like the GW-9400, have even larger 7+ mm, easier to press buttons.
The bottoms are recessed so you don't keep pushing them by accident. It was actually a huge problem for me on my SGW100-1V. I now own a DW-5600E-1VER and it is just PERFECT for me. Real simple with stopwatch - timer - alarm - auto. And I never press the bottoms by accident. 👌
Hi there. I aplied on my Casio GWM 5610U a gold metal case & strap from alliexpress. Now I have a watch for especial ocasions. That upgrade matches the 5000U. I don’t feel any difference, but it is not a beater watch anymore, but still a G Shock with a extensível look. Great vídeo.
I think you would've really liked the negative display even better than the positive, especially if you're a big fan of the DW5600BB. I never thought I would say that I liked the 5610 negative over the 5600BB, but after wearing the 5610 for one year, I will never go back.
5600bb is the cool one, negative is ok on the cool one. But 5610 for me is a functional work horse of a watch, so negative display would compromise 5610 for me at least.
I think you can get aftermarket buttons that stick out a little further. The GD-350 is like a "cousin" to the squares, but amazing buttons and user interface, plus, a vibrating alarm.
Buttons are super easy for me to press. I suppose bigger fingers might struggle as you did. Nice video! I was thinking about adding bullbars to mine, but now I want to just test the durability myself of the standard set up.. If for some strange reason it doesn't hold up, the next one will have them. Hopefully 20 years from now lol

I’ll always have a soft spot for the AE1200. That watch is literally the best watch you can buy at that price imo. However the GWM5610 is probably the best watch you can get if you want reliability, functionality and value. Far more durable than the AE1200. Sure there are smart watches. Garmin makes some killer watches. But they are not worry-free. Expensive, still need to recharge. Apple Watch…constantly spamming you with notifications, have to charge it constantly, you’ll cry if it gets stolen. This is the go-to watch if you just want timekeeping and a few functions that will never fail you. I use my phone for the rest.
This watch has 200m water resistance written on it, those buttons are hard to press so the watch can also resist 20bar water pressure, that’s why the regular Casio has easier buttons but less water resistance. I believe this is the best g shock i have 4 of them already different versions and colors, they’re amazing especially for smaller wrists.

well, about versatility.. Buttons are rather annoying if you wanna use this watch in some kind of fitness activity with shaky hands and numb fingers, what defies the purpose of a sports watch in general.. Also, it is a sports watch by look, which narrows down possible outfits for this watch. So neither very sporty, nor fits many outfits very well. Just has many functions, is the most durable thing known to man and is a true future proof icon in the watch world.

I've had this Casio GW-M5610U watch for almost a month, and these buttons are annoying, even though I have a timer that I usually use often, I must admit that it's a bit tiring, it's practically impossible to do it with one hand. I already put it up for sale three days ago. I'm currently wondering whether to replace it with GA-B2100 -1AER. Although since I received the Pagani PD1717, I don't feel like wearing another watch... Still, I'm wondering whether to buy the mentioned GA-B2100 to see if it suits me, or the Casio EFS-S620DB-1BVUEF. Ultimately, I'm considering switching to the Citizen Titanium Eco-Drive BM8560-88E and ending this "chase" for a watch that suits me. And then wear PD1717 every day, and Citizen when traveling. To sum up, what would be the best solution from this combination? Casio GA-B2100, Casio EFS-S620DB-1BVUEF, or Citizen Titanium Eco-Drive BM8560-88E?
Unless you don’t mind the “BABY-G” on the watch, I guess it’s nice. But don’t be fooled by the watch in this video. I’m pretty sure it fits most smaller wrists so most likely also yours 👍

😢I have a positive and a negative screen models the last with the upgraded bracelet I love them both but they'll be better if CASIO have had used the new MIP screen they would be easier to read and will look beautiful.
This one with f91 is unbeatable
Can you find another buttons for this model? Please, you will help the community alot if you find solution for this problem.
I dont understand whats the point of making these buttons deeper than the guards...
This may be the greatest value of all time, for less than the price of a tank of gas in california you could have this watch.
I am thinking of selling my 5610 and buiyng the GAW-100! I find the digits on my 5610 too small!
I have this watch very nice 👍
CASIO please make the buttons stick out more!!!
That's the fun part, this chase never ends 😄
What do you think about G Shock Baby (a BGD-5650-1ER)? I have small wrist
Unless you don’t mind the “BABY-G” on the watch, I guess it’s nice. But don’t be fooled by the watch in this video. I’m pretty sure it fits most smaller wrists so most likely also yours 👍
Viewing angles with 8888 at left-down view positions dissapoint
What’s the model at 3:00 ? Looks great

Ultimate small wrist g shock
Mine won't charge over m either.
how to tell it apart from the old version?
new one says "Light" on the dial, old one says "El. Back Light"
how do we know if the store holds a new or an old model?
on the top right old one says "El. Back Light". New one says just "Light"
Or Multiband 5 or 6, 5 is the old model
So when are you going to review the "G-Shock killer"? 😉
to be honest, I don't like it much. Despite wonderful buttons it feels a bit too plastic. I have to kick myself in a butt a bit to make video about it :D
People love the red but I could never have got into the red accent.
I can buy at most one more G Shock before the wife kicks me out.
I can't decide between this and the DW6600 PC5....
I want them both..
don't know about dw6600, but 5610 will be a G-Shock icon forever.
@@TomasWatchReviews True,
but it will be available for a long time also, not so sure the 6600 will, currently I can only get it from Japan it seems.
Maybe you should review it my friend 😉
I count my money too :D
Hi, you buy 1 watch & tell your wife to gift you the other This way U will have both watches & you will both be happy
@@AmitKulkarni-z3r Oh, bless your heart, my friend, you are as nice as you are naive.
There are about 20 watches at home, 2 on the way from China she still does't know about...
At this point she gets mad when I gift HER another watch. It is that bad.
She bought me whiskey for our 15th anniversary...
