My main gripe with Watch Dogs 2 was the villains and the story. Like theres nothing really pulling me in and motivating to take DeadSec's side. The main quest is literally just an objective that says "take down blume". Then there was the main antagonist who I couldn't take seriously. Like, dude looked like he only drinks soy milk. He was was just some silicone valley hipster fuck. Meanwhile, Aiden had much more personal and believable motivation, and compelling villains. Dude was caught in the crossfire of an underground war and was just gunning for vengeance
in watch dogs 1 you kill them in the most badass ways like dude, hacking a pacemaker?? but in watch dogs 2 they’re just arrested and it’s boring as hell and the fact that tbone is there and he rerouted gas to ‘kill’ default (he’s mentioned in legion and says he’s not dead in a message)
I loved watch dogs but for me that shit was dark as hell graphically and game wise. Watch dogs 2 was funnier and brighter and the game for me would never get boring. The characters were great and the story line although confusing at times was still really good. I respect ur opinion though
San Francisco was more colourful and lively, so Marcus and his crew always had this cheerful and outgoing vibe. Whereas Chicago was grim and dark, with crooks and gangs crawling around, making Aiden a force to be reckoned with.
To someone says the winner for hacking is marcus is definitely wrong. In the final mission damien (wd1) with the help t-bone’s virus, the entire chicago cities blackout(it takes few days to update the ctos 2.0). Personally aiden still wins even without the help from clara(dedsec) or t-bone because he’s a living legend. Dedsec can’t beat him
@@darkohm1379 that because in that time, car wasnt upgraded with the CTOS. In Watch Dogs 2 it explain that even in that time there were no hackers, the Ctos / or Blume can just make a car crashes into a random places.

Dude, that’s so frustrating. So many people mention that. CBat was one song that he made out of so many others. Not fair to equate his other works to that, there’s a more diverse lineup that that. Both soundtracks were fantastic, but WD2 put you in the zone better than WD1. Stood out way more too. That what the guy is all about. You should check out his more recent stuff too…

Ok, Aiden has the ability to focus and fight faster. Bro can literally throw and shoot grenades, have a 30 percent of dying when on low health. And can drink energy drinks which highs up his focus! Oh, and if you’re a blander person with no refined tastes, we got even more content with tons of collectibles that actually have unique endings to pay off for your troubles and awful Assassin’s Creed Far Cry towers that will reveal new places on the map! What do you have in 2 though? Oh, just time trials, racing, an Uber/Lyft gig, and going around taking pictures of yourself to unlock new selfie poses you probably won’t think to use in a long time. I mean just… wow. That really was it. WD2 wins in the DLC department at least. T-Bone Bundle, don’t ask questions and just bring it into Invasions, you’ll see what I mean quick. Edit: Yeah, I really have something against WD2. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad game, but I’m just saying… everyone’s takes really missed. Multiplayer-wise though, 2 absolutely wins. Aside from a few nitpicks, I LOVE the first game. Both are great, WD1 in Story, characters and atmosphere (my opinion), and WD2 in Gameplay (which is just as important as story). But the first one has something to it. Maybe it's the darker tone of it, something that Ubisoft took way too seriously when they got feedback from one and wanted to make two. The gameplay of one isn't even that bad, the driving feels bad but nothing else. Oh and the characters, Aiden, Clara, Jordi and T-Bone are in my opinion way better than the Ded-Sec cast. Doesn't mean they're bad, just overshadowed by the other cast. The series was never that great in the villains department, but being honest, Quinn and Damien are better than Dusan. I never even knew Dusan was an villain until like 1/4 in the game. And I gotta say, Chicago from WD1 looks better for me than San Francisco from WD2. But that's just my opinion. Dunno about yours. (Damn bro really took dedication to write a whole novel about why I like WD1 more than WD2.)

I think the cars durability in the first game was better than the second because my car get literally destroyed after like 1 minute of driving and just hitting a few walls or I am just terrible at driving

Both the 2 game have a free roam but the first one after completing all the main and side quests gets boring since you haven't anything else to do On Watch Dogs 2 you get the choice to mess around with hacks, gangs and police, parkour and exploring
Marcus isn’t technically a bad guy but he does show a bit of evil after killing 13 people (unless it was a mistake by Ubisoft) while aiden (possibly) smiles at criminals when he gets away like that scene where he gets on a train ( both shows signs of anti hero most of the time but Marcus shows more)

Wd 2 is a straight upgrade from Wd 1 except for Gun Combat, Story, and maybe atmosphere. WD2 has less bugs, more habilities, better sandbox, driving, ia, music, level design, personalisation, online, etc. Its a gem really, try it.
In the second part, there are also no memorable characters except for jokes. Of all the characters that I somehow remember, this is a team of hackers in the person of Marcus, Sitara and others. But even they are only jokingly tuned and rarely touch on serious topics. In the first part of all the memorable characters, this is the main character himself, Geordie and the villains.
But on my opinion, legion is trash, best fail in existence, you can’t turn off cars, you don’t see any old cars, you can’t do the crime mission. Wdl was a huge fail.
Just remember that the impossible hack is canon and Aiden did it and Deadsec literally said it should had been impossible. Therefore Aiden is the better hacker
