Good stuff! If I may, I would like to expand a bit on "find something your curious about." When you are meeting with a potential prospect (either socially or in business), and you would like to establish some rapport, it is helpful if you get that person to "teach" you something. Make them an expert. The definition of an expert is someone that knows at least one more thing about a subject than you do. When you get them to talk about something they know and to talk about themselves (everyone's favorite subject), they will be more open to listening to your ideas/agenda. The best way to accomplish this is to ask questions. The KEY is to ask questions where you know that they know the answer or that you have given them the answer in the question. You want to avoid the "awkward pause" that accompanies deep thought. That dreaded silence. To insure flow you might ask, "So, tell me about your family...do you come from a large family?" Nobody has to think about a question like that. It is easy and it gives the responder a wide range of answers to detail for you. What do you do for work? Is that what you want to have as a career or are your dreams elsewhere? Easy questions that allow expansion and create easy follow-up questions. "What are your thoughts on the arms race?", would not be a good question. Do you think Trump will turn the economy around? Not good. If you are talking to a sports guy, "Who do you think is the best basketball player, LeBron or Jordan?" Make it easy. Give them the answer in the question. If you are in somebody's home or office, wander over to something displayed and say, "Wow." People like to show the things that they are interested in or things that they have accomplished (like trophies or awards). It will not take much prompting to get them to teach you about what is displayed. Try the "Wow approach." It works very well. Remember that we have been given two ears and one mouth. To establish rapport it is judicious to use them proportionately. Using these tools sincerely will give you the reputation of someone that is easy to talk to...Soooo, you don't get airsick do you? Are you an experienced flyer? What do you do...?

Hey guys, remember that you can turn on CC (closed captions) to help you understand what Evan is saying, rather than having to turn up the volume and getting annoyed. They've added proper subtitles to their videos. If you struggle with hearing what's being said, I recommend you give it a shot.

I think its not the worst thing in the world - he batch records these and recently put out a video acknowledging the mic problem. I feel it won't be an issue in his next batch of videos
