    ENG:
Tour Custom is an instrument made of 100% maple wood, finished with an elegant satin varnish. The bodies are made in the technology of 6 cross-laminated layers with a total thickness of 5.6 mm and the edges cut at an angle of 45 degrees. These solutions make the Tour Custom series drums have a warm, bright tone with a quick response and medium-length decay, while having a very light weight, which is invaluable in everyday routes and constant traveling. The world's largest touring and music festival providers unanimously say that "Yamaha drums and hardware are the most reliable and durable tools in battle"- which inspired the project team in Japan to create the Tour Custom series, that ensures reliability and durability, and at the same time will be easy to use in any conditions.
    PL:

Yamaha may be plain on finishes but listen to those drums! Nice playing too. They almost have a hum similar to Sonor. Two of the best sounding drums available imho...

I've been saying for years that Sonar are the most underrated Drum company in the world and damn they're every bit as good as Yamaha or Tama. I can tell you this though if you haven't played a mapex Armory Suite kit yet trust me they are every bit as good as the stage Customs or tour customs. They're also the only kid that's compared all the time to the stage customs or the Tama Maple custom kits. Mapex has beautiful finishes too. The only reason the Armory sweet kits don't sell even more is because they have virgin bass drums and you can't Mount the Toms.

@@williamperri3437 You honestly nailed it I was going to get a mapex Saturn kit but I didn't want to mount them to my symbol stands so I got a custom tour yamaha instead!

They sound VERY good but I would like to hear them with some ebony suede heads or coated heads.

Yes dear friend, cause the clear head, emperor or ambassador doesn't sounds that good. Not a fan of these heads. I prefer the coated ambassador x or just ambassador, emperor coated, fiberskin coated, or calf tone evans. I also like the heads tony Williams used when he played his kits.

One hour of pure pleasure for the ears.
      His mapex sounds unbelievable.

@@metothemoon1227 I also love the sound of "black dot" heads that Tony used as well as Bonham and Steve Gadd when he 1st came out in the mid-70's. I just don't remember liking the feel if the Remo Black Dot heads. Sounds like you may really like Remo ebony emperor "suede" heads if you had a chance to try them on the toms. Remo has a demo on youtube.

You'll like the video I send to you of Damien Schmitt. His mapex sounds like heaven Hana. And that playing too sweet mother of pearls haha.

you play really well.....the Yamaha is beautiful......but those perforated cymbals, I can't stand them.....I don't know why they are in fashion.....every drummer has at least one ......they have a horrible sound......they are perhaps more annoying than "Splash"....forgive me, but I'm a boomer, maybe I'm the one who's annoying, but I grew up with them paiste series 2002 with John Bonham measurements...😊😅......anyway, you're great...👋

@@metothemoon1227 absolutely! I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Mapex are made there and I have played practically every drum company in the world that matters and are accessible in America and Mapex Armory Suite kits are the only kids under $1,000 that I've heard that are as good or better than the stage customs. Mapex like Sonar are arguably the most underrated drums made.

Hi dear brother, agree with you, I love mapex drums too, even if i'm a Yamaha guy but one day i'll buy a Saturn kit.
