I want to use this for a small irrigation system feeding off of 250 gallon totes. There is 2 models I like the 3.3 and 5.5 gpm and flipping a coin to see which one I choose.

The pump runs for about 7 seconds and then the fuse blows. Do I have the connection wrong ? No instructions came with the pump

You should try a 20amp plug for a/c. Sounds like you may have a 15amp circuit.

You are supposed to turn the pressure adjustment clock wise. I was wondering why the pressure was so low in the demonstration.

He was lowering the pressure because the pump would kick back on right after kicking off, probably from the expansion of the hose or any air in the hose.

Sam, unrelated to this video, I was wondering how long your slingshot battery lasted ? My SS is a 2019 and the Polaris battery is completely dead and not taking a charge. Gary

@garysnyder6020 my batteries lasted about 3 years. You can tell when the battery is at the end of life by checking the voltage in the morning after it has sit all night. A good battery new will hold a charge of 12.7 or 12.8. As the battery gets older it will go down and down as the years go on. When it reaches about 12.2, you should shop for a new battery. Check you voltage as I describe and see what your new battery holds a charge from new to older.
