Once again, a refreshing reminder of the pleasures aboard. You share your accumulating knowledge and your foibles with purity and even we old salts can accompany you and vicariously share in your explorations. Well done. Don’t despair about those two or three knot intervals. You’re better off enjoying those “slow” times than running that diesel at half throttle. Yes , Sun angle is important for certain arrivals but try to calculate those sedate pace intervals into your trip planning. Keep up the good work!
Hey Jonathan, it’s bloody awesome receiving comments like this. I really value the reminder to enjoy the journey and not focus on the destination. Also allowing for time like that adds a new challenge and opportunity to improve which I’m always keen for. I’m so stoked to hear you’re aboard and enjoying yourself as we are too. Thanks heaps mate! Josh
Your adventures are always entertaining and full of camaraderie. Thanks for sharing these memorable sailing journeys-it's wonderful to see your passion for exploration and friendship shine through!
Hey mate, comments like yours are so uplifting. It’s so awesome hearing feedback and positivity from people who enjoy our videos. We enjoy creating them and it’s a pleasure to share! Cheers, Josh
Hey Lori! Jack has had a great time but I think he will be sick of snorkeling for a while after this trip 😆 you’ll love the next episode I reckon. Best wishes! Josh
Lovely video. I enjoy being an armchair traveler with you. I have visited some of those reefs a lifetime ago. They are amazing! Pity you don’t have a auto helm for those long slow periods. Happy sailing.
Hey Russell, it’s awesome to have you along for the adventure. I hope the videos remind you of your own wonderful experiences when you visited. We have come to realise an auto pilot is not just a luxury but a necessity! Cheers mate, Josh
@@Thenewkidsonthedock thanks guys. I traded the boat for a deposit on an apartment with magnificent sea views on the Sunshine Coast so still connected in a more passive way. Btw, I had a good quality RayMarine autopilot fitted about 3 years ago in Airle. Over $8k on a 11m mono which was way more than expected and they ended up restricting access to the port lazarette. So, be careful the more you move north the more expensive things become. But, if you can install it yourself you will be a long way ahead. Good luck.
Hey James you legend, stoked you are enjoying the videos! Our sailing has come a long way and I’m sure it makes for more comfortable viewing for people like yourself who know what they are doing lol. Cheers for the support and encouragement mate, we value you a lot! Josh
Always enjoy your updates, I have noticed in the last 2 vids that you are getting pummeled by the headsail while hoisting. You don't have to be head to wind. Fall off a little so it is more over the life lines while flogging so the bloke or lass on the winch gets a break.
Hey mate, good thinking! Wish we thought of this earlier haha 😅 it’s funny as you learn you develop your own methods. But in the early days you stay very “by the book” Cheers, Josh
Thanks guys. The ocean is not a swimming pool. The nutrients visible in the water, which starts that whole life cycle down there is amazing. Pheobe, you might want to carry a speargun even when snorkeling to poke at things swimming closer to you then you are comfortable with. PS: I'm sticking with Cindy Crawford. 🙃 Stay safe. ❤🙏
dude this cracked us up so much, that is EXACTLY what this video is like - so many comical mistakes 😂 you’ve inspired us, we’re going to change the title to that now hahaha
Found U2 ways back, goin' up from the Tweed. Oh how far U2 have come. What with works onn the dry and running repairs. How much have you both achieved? Love your efforts each week and love ya cock ups, it shows how real your journey is. Fair winds U2 scallywags
Good spotting! Since losing our anchor we have been carrying a 60ld anchor that is rather oversized, also 70m of short link 10mm chain adds up… plus all the spares, sails and water in the bow. I’d love to lighten her up forward next season! Cheers, Josh
It seems like it’s been a month since your last video, was hoping this channel would replace a few others that are doing boat builds, guess I’ll have to let ya go and find others who post more frequently
This month has been more challenging than usual! We’ve had a video ready for the upload for the past two days but Starlink has really let us down in the upload department. Our next ep will be live for the public within the next 24hrs. We also post an ad-free episode on Patreon the day before! So if you’re hankering for an ep, our lowest tier has that available to you now 😊
Don’t worry about using an earlier edition of the cruising guide, as the reefs don’t move (so I believe).

Fun videos guys. Loved the underwater sequence. Cheers!
Hey David we bloody love that sequence too glad you enjoyed it! Cheers, Josh
Epic adventures as usual my friends.
As always appreciate your feedback Tony.

Phoebe I hope you can get a weight belt soon! Make things a ton easier. Loving the channel! Great videography!
Great video guys keep them coming
Thanks Greg!
Awesome
Do some more vine swinging and diving in the ocean
Beautiful video. Thanks!
Awesome vibes as usual...PS Never mess with drones, use extra caution, especially at sea.
I like your videos
Awesome Robert! Happy to have you here
Josh
I don't know if the brown was referring to reef. Generally with coral reef, brown is down, yellow is shallow. Keep on enjoying your adventurers 🙂
Sure was! We like our rhymes 😁 so much no information to learn when sailing it’s like another whole language. Cheers, Josh
lol it's like watching The Three Stooges at times

wow, i love that reef garden. i want to go there. how long does it take to get use to those big long flippers? very inspiring! love you guys..
yay team..

You look a little bow heavy while under way. You sit quite a few inches lower than your water line.
Good spotting! Since losing our anchor we have been carrying a 60ld anchor that is rather oversized, also 70m of short link 10mm chain adds up… plus all the spares, sails and water in the bow. I’d love to lighten her up forward next season!

How about a synchronized swim show for the viewers.?!
You’d love the synchronized swim show we organised with some dolphins in episode 9 😆 cheers, Josh
