My Father-in-law is suppose to come to US in May, now he is saying “post pone the ticket post election, we have to go and vote for annamalai /BJP , our 2 vote counts” this emotion is what is called wave in politics, guys /gals , please talk to everyone and make sure they vote for BJP this time, talk to you house maids and road side workers and ensure they understand that 1)they can vote anyone they want even if someone told them they belong / registered already to another party 2) even if they can get money from others they can vote for bjp. 3) No one would be able to findout who they voted for.
OMG.. I do the exact same thing.. I talk to at least 2 people everyday.. maids.. flower akka.. iron man etc., teach them about elections and tell them the samee points here.. in the last few days I would have surveyed and spoken to about 50 people.. IT MATTERS .. everyone should do it..

Great of Mr Annamalai, very very pertinent answers, as a super senior citizen I really admire his sharpness. As a retired Police man my view on Police is that while parity is one thing and reason for over working it is not the pay comes first it is always short of strength at station level. From the available staff strength one twentieth is taken away for other duties like orderlies, gun men to politicians etc. This required serious attention for better policing.
We have it in all of us boss.. Lets take baby steps everyday and make a small change amidst our busy lives.. It will matter.. 1000 full time politicians not required. 1 million common people thinking and acting responsibly can make a difference.. like you have made your point here.. takes a small effort but makes a difference.. same way talk to at least one less previledged person a day and educate them about whom to vote.. ! :)

This guy is phenomenal !!! His vast experience is his biggest strength. He should be in some ministry which needs attention in cabinet if not in TN. He is charged by challenges. So forthright and confident to accept his weaknesses. No hesitation in agreeing that he may be wrong at times. Very well connected to ground reality. The best part is, he as a minister won’t need secretaries to find a solution for any problem. He will find it himself. Also he’s totally in sync with what is happening around him. No, not due to education alone. It is his inborn curiosity as well as pursuit of excellence, his love for challenges and his zeal to solve problems. As others are wishing, I too want to see him as our future PM, but after listening to his interview, I feel that he won’t be happy to take that role. It is very clear. He’s a hands on person who wants to work for the welfare of the society and won’t be happy sitting and discussing Geopolitics with World leaders in an AC room. But he has untapped potential and should be judiciously used. I envy TN. Modi ji definitely has an eye for recognising and picking up untapped potential. India needs at least 10 more Annanmalais.

This speaks of his humility, deep concern, empathy, good intent and head-on-the-shoulder attitude towards the people of even the lower-age group. You dont see this most public servants, even with bank clerks. This guy who is cut out to become a CM and a PM, with high image amongst thousands of people who visit him everyday, is so humble.

This guy is phenomenal !!! His vast experience is his biggest strength. He should be in some ministry which needs attention in cabinet if not in TN. He is charged by challenges. So forthright and confident to accept his weaknesses. No hesitation in agreeing that he may be wrong at times. Very well connected to ground reality. The best part is, he as a minister won’t need secretaries to find a solution for any problem. He will find it himself. Also he’s totally in sync with what is happening around him. No, not due to education alone. It is his inborn curiosity as well as pursuit of excellence, his love for challenges and his zeal to solve problems. As others are wishing, I too want to see him as our future PM, but after listening to his interview, I feel that he won’t be happy to take that role. It is very clear. He’s a hands on person who wants to work for the welfare of the society and won’t be happy sitting and discussing Geopolitics with World leaders in an AC room. But he has untapped potential and should be judiciously used. I envy TN. Modi ji definitely has an eye for recognising and picking up untapped potential. India needs at least 10 more Annanmalais.
