If they ever have it in the Vault Specials again, Lotus Vale is a land that can destroy another land when it ETBs. Pricey that it is a irl money thing, but from PMA it is permastandard. PS, granted, Hostile Hostel isn't even in Standard anymore, but still something to consider for other lands that need destruction like it, from Mage-Ring Network to (if for whatever mad reason and situation) Desert.
I'm not going to pay that much for a not very useful card 😮 but you're right, Land removal is essential right now with everyone playing Citadel, Demo Field and Desert.
