@@digitalwastrel you wouldn't happen to have a photo album containing all of these pictures would you? I'm also curious how you achieved that pale skin if you have a recipe.
I have some photos on my insta if you go back far enough (a few years at least). I'm planning to do a proper showcase for my GSC gang and maybe a quick painting guide too in the future. Fortunately this was one case where I kept notes on the paints used! Hooray! This is what I wrote down for the skin recipe: paint skin VMC sky grey wash reikland fleshshade highlight palid wych flesh final highlight sky grey (especially smooth areas such as bald heads) i think there was some watered down purple washes around the faces after that too Hope that helps!
Amazing content ! I'm just unsure about aberants. I've just reoppened my Book of Ruin and there's written that you can buy 1 aberant. Im pretty confused because i've bought the biosanctic battleforce to have everything for a gsc gang and some ash waste vehicles. But i think i have too much aberants. In fact i guess the abominant i just enough?
Thanks for the video, looking to join my first necromunda campaign later this year and considering GSC as I already have the 40K army. Thinking of running the Sanctus model as an acolyte with long las, familiar and evade for a really hard to hit sniper character!
Where does it say that all gangers can be specialists when purchased after gang creation? I can't find it in the gang composition and during the campaign sections
Helot Cultist description says that additional cultists purchased during a campaign can take special weapons. Not specifically a Specialist in terms of how they spend XP though, sorry!
What janky gang creation rules about recruiting Neophytes with special weapons were you referring to? I haven't read that anywhere? Can you point to where it says that or what book?
That's right! The Neophyte box contains a heavy weapons guy (or two maybe?) with 3 arms, and I'm using that guy as a champion. You can also run champions with only 2 arms. So you can make all the options in my list just using the Neophytes box. Acolyte/Neophyte is mostly just a 40k unit and box descriptor. The gang uses Generations to determine rules, so you have more flexibility when it comes to miniatures.
Book of Ruin is a bit poor in terms of summaries, apparently! GW's website has the Trading Post pdf download though, which has stats for most weapons, Mining Lasers included.
Love the simple paint scheme
Thank you!
glad you did this one my friend
They're one of my favourites!
I love your "Introduction to" Video Series. There are no better vids for the factions out there, afaik. Looking for forward to the next to come!
Glad you like them! I'll get to all of them in time, for sure!
Are the photos your models? Im looking into making a gsc killteam and id love to use a similar color scheme. They look great!
Yes they are! Thank you!

Hail all, GSC FTW!!!
Your favourite!
Great vid, completely agree with youre views
Thank you!
Was the extra ability of the Alpha erata'd? I can't seem to find what you're talking about.

GSC are really one of the best GW ranges right? Such good miniatures! You'll have a nice looking gang for sure.

@Digital Wastrel no problem, I misread the rules and just assumed they functioned like the house gangs. Thanks for the clarification!
@@austinthomas6828 Clear wording has never been a strong point of Necromunda rules haha
@Digital Wastrel that's a core mechanic of necromunda though. It's the arguing over rules! 😂
@@digitalwastrel Why do you beleive this applies to GSC?
What janky gang creation rules about recruiting Neophytes with special weapons were you referring to? I haven't read that anywhere? Can you point to where it says that or what book?
Or are you talking about being armed with anything in the stash?
The Book of Ruin says something like "During a campaign additional Neophytes may be armed with special weapons as they are added"
I am a bit confused, in your 1 box wysiwyg list you list both neophyte and acolyte hybrids. I thought they are two different boxes
That's right! The Neophyte box contains a heavy weapons guy (or two maybe?) with 3 arms, and I'm using that guy as a champion. You can also run champions with only 2 arms. So you can make all the options in my list just using the Neophytes box.

@@digitalwastrel thanks for the clarification!
I thought Neophyte Hybrids had to make up at least 50% of your units (So you can't just stack Aberrants) Might be wrong though
You are correct! I missed that, thank you
Where do I find the rules for mining lasers? I've looked all through the book of ruin and I might be being blind but I can't find it...

@@digitalwastrel cheers will check it out
@@cillamccarthy6987 no problem!
Where did you get this information from?
The GSC gang lists is in the Book of Ruin
