I think I need to make a video on how to caulk. I see so many people wasting so much, you can literally tip the gun the opposite way and have zero waste. Plus it will push the caulking into the joint and fill it instead of laying over it..
Hahah funny you say that because we literally made a tutorial on how to use the silicone/Silicone gun but decided to take it out of the episode. It was teaching people how to cut the tip of the gun and what way to angle it. Jase is actually a glazier and used to do this every single day for his job installing shower screens. He said better to use more than less to ensure you fill all gaps. However I understand like any job everyone has their different ways of doing things that work. And I’m sure your way works great

I always wonder why can’t (especially with this self polishing) “soft anti foul” why it’s not possible to throw a heap of copper dust in it? I have asked an expert and was told people do, but because of the brand he uses it’s not worth bothering, he gets over three years without even cleaning anything and it still looks like new after a pressure wash.. (that’s all Med sailing)
Hey Bill, we did 3 coats of anti-foul on the entire hull this time, which was great! Should give us an extra year🤞🏼 We finished up i think about 3 days before splashing the boat Thanks so much, we love Greece 🇬🇷 😍
Looking good, where you in Aktio or Cleopatra? Would you recommend it there? We have booked a haul out for june in Aktio. Hopefully we get three knots extra too. We had exactly the same feelings over winter glad for the rest from boat life but soon enough the ocean starts calling. Nice video👌⛵👌
Hey Drew, we booked aktio as it was cheaper and we weren’t going to be in the boat yard for too long. They’re definitely way friendlier their than cleopatra (as that’s where we bought our boat from) but the facilities aren’t as nice. Hahah 😜 it’s actually crazy how much of a difference a fresh bottom makes 🙌🏼 Yeah it’s crazy isn’t it! I think it’s great as you do appreciate it more Thanks for tuning in 😁😆

Since we have been here they prices nearly doubled.. and then the marina wants a payment of 20% for any work we do on the boat... Paying to work on your own boat.. so we have been abit mentally defeated by our situation. So this week's video was perfectly timed as we just booked Atkio for mid June. Are you guys on navily? Our boat is called Ammonite maybe see you around at some point. ⛵💨🥂
