Yeah it’s a hard one isn’t it! Jase is 32, I think it looks much better short Oh yaye we’re so glad you enjoyed watching that! I’m guessing u caught on on everyone’s episodes?
Oh glad you enjoyed that! We got some new mic’s so it’s funny when he’s all the way at the bowl and you can hear it clear as day 🤣 although we have already lost one somehow, must’ve gotten knocked off when bringing down the sail or something 😟 they didn’t seem too great though I could still hear alot of wind in some clips Thankyou 😆☺️ Yeah not ideal 🤦🏻♀️ could’ve punched myself in the face lol
Hi guys. I noticed you have a thing I know as a Cobb onboard. Only it looks slighty different from the South African version I have. It is the Australian version? And maybe you are interested in how I do a whole chicken on it with lemon, tomatoes and basil and some other bits and bobs.
Hey Gert, we sure do 😍😍 it’s exactly the same. We got it in Greece, we have the attachment for the roast chicken but are yet to try so we would absolutely love your recipe. Maybe we can feature it on our video’s. As we’re going to talk more about the Cobb soon to recommend it to other boaties and adventurers alike
@@LeadingtheEscapade Ok. In case you feature the Cobb, get them to sponsor you guys. These things are ideal on a boat. I never leave without it. Recipe: 1 whole chicken approx. 1,5 kg. 1 lemon, 4 cloves of garlic, 2 big onions, tomatoes, fresh basil, ketjap manis, dry white wine and olive oil. Prep: chop everthing (not the chicken haha) . Lemon with the peel in quarters. Rest to your liking. Put all together and add ketjap, wine and olive oil. Give it a good stir and let it sit while stirring once in a while. Put olive oil over the chicken and season with just salt and pepper. Fire up the Cobb and when the smoke has cleared, put everthing in the Cobb inner bowl (clean it first as particles from the cobbstone do fly around). Then put the bbq cover on, then the chicken roast thing, chicken on top, put the lid over it all and then the only thing left to do is turning the chicken after 45 minutes. Wait another 45 minutes and done. Eat with baquette. Bonne apetit! Warning: fluids do flow from the chicken into the inner bowl. This may cause the bowl to overflow. And you do not want that on your boat let alone teak. Nor do you put any part of the Cobb directly on the boat. It stains like hell.
@@gertboerman3666 ahhh amazing Thankyou so much we will definitely try this 😍 funny you say that, they actually sponsored us, we were gifted the Cobb, but we reached out to them as we really wanted one 😍 do you have the special chicken rack where the chicken is upright or do you just do yours on the normal roasting rack?
@@LeadingtheEscapade No, just using the normal rack. I know you can also buy an appendix to put the chicken upright over an opened tin of beer. Jason might like that, haha. But then you may also need an extension for the dome to be high enough. In Holland we call that: "Een kip verkrachten op de Cobb." Very funny in Dutch. Hard to translate.
Yeah it definitely does 😅 it’s so awkward for us to get the engine out of the water as we don’t have a proper system, but we hope to get some davits when we go to TUNISIA as it’s cheap to have work done there 😄
Now I gotta worry about ya mate, nice that you like gayfl and a hairdryer 🤔 where’s the mop gone? Hey J, you need a bigger boat for all that …..stuff you’ll keep for five years then chuck 😊 maybe a Lagoon 45 Hot Chocolate in the arvo…mmm Good to see you pair back out there ⛵️🌞🦘🎈
🤣🤣🤣🤣 the mop is gone!! Jase misses it a lot 😳 but it’s so much cleaner without it, he didn’t know how to look after it, it was frequently like a birds nest back there 😅 Hahah wouldn’t be mad about a bigger boat, however we have culled a lot of stuff that was originally on the boat over the past 2 years. We’ve simplified our belongings so much! But still gotta have some luxuries like a cocktail cabinet and an ice maker 😉 Thanks Mal, thanks for tuning in again 😁
Manufacturers finally made cell phones waterproof. I don't understand why they couldn't at least make the screen and keyboard water tight. Laptops are too big to drop in the dunny so at least that isn't an issue.
Totally agree with you there mark, unfortunately though it was alllll over the keyboard and not the screen at All. Screen is perfectly fine but the keyboard has a lot of holes so that’s not so good 😖

Hey David 😆 hahahah yesss Jase and I have had arguments about the way one another are using it, but I’m pretty sure I googled it and proved him wrong 🤣 he still doesn’t listen 🙈 thanks for tuning in, cheers 😆
It wasn’t anything they did wrong though it was my own fault. However I totally understand where you’re coming from, but the ease of being able to transfer all of our footage instantly from phone to computer by airdrop is soo so easy. It makes our job much faster
@@LeadingtheEscapade other Linux systems can do everything mac, appel does, for way less money and more secure. I prefer my private pics and videos of my wife to not be accessible to others.
I’m assuming it can’t do airdrop from iPhone though and we basically film 99% of our footage with an iPhone pro since July last year. And we transfer over around 15gb of footage every week 😅
@@LeadingtheEscapade sorry it took so long to respond. you can transfer large amounts of data from android phone to a Linux based computer much more secure then iphone/apple/mac.
