To be fair, he ate the filet mignon side on the Outback steak and ate the New York strip side on the Texas Roadhouse. The strip side is always gonna be tougher than the Filet side. The Texas Roadhouse one was way overcooked though. I don’t know how much eating the other side would’ve helped it anyways.
Yo, thank you for saying this. I thought the same thing. You can’t compare two different cuts my guy. 🤦🏻♂️ I think Chime is trying to get an Outback sponsorship, 😂.
I also think with chain restaurants like this it’s location dependent. There’s an Outback Steakhouse near where I went to college and the food was dreadful 😅
In my town there is a Longhorn Steakhouse Outback and Texas Roadhouse within sight of each other. Texas Roadhouse is consistently the busiest and Outback is the least busy.
Biggest scam in the meat industry. The steak you had might have indeed been awesome but that bone did nothing for it the way it was prepared, it's an expensive presentation. I'm a meat cutter by trade, those bones are not edible nor have marrow caps, you're paying for inedible material
You ate from the filet mignon side on the Outback steak and the strip steak side from the TX Roadhouse side. Of course there's going to be a difference in tenderness. You also did a steak review without a knife and fork.
Same here, after going to several high end steak houses I've gotta say for an affordable good steak that you'll never be disappointed in Texas roadhouse is the place to go.. I've had $130 steak that weren't as good as a $40 texas roadhouse steak. And it comes with sides
Some people don't know how to cook steak. But they know how to raise the prices. I cook my own steak and make my own rolls. You have to let the meat rest. Always a hit or miss with restaurants now. Love your channel, you always make me laugh 😂. God Bless You.❤️
Outback is almost alway shitty now, no matter the location. Texas Roadhouse is generally good, and sometimes excellent depending on location. Longhorn is good depending on location. Chime must've found the only good Outback left in the States lol
I knew Outback had it, I recently went, the food, service, drinks all on point. The chef even came to our table to ask was the food good. Which it was everything well seasoned cooked perfectly. I had a Steak, 2 sides, a blooming onion, some kind of mixed drink which was REEEALLY good, and tea. He gave me my blooming onion for free and gave us a Outback card which gave us few dollars off. They were all great our waitress was A1, left her a nice tip. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. They have some of the Best hospitality that I have experienced.
I got me a ribeye from roadhouse and it was great I don’t think I’ve had outback in a minute. But the ribeye was good. Best steak I remember having as the NY strip from longhorn
I swear it ain’t even close. A lot of people eat and talk steaks and don’t even understand quality. Longhorns quality of steaks alone shits on the other 2
That's because it is in fact 2 steaks in one. The NY strip and a tenderloin or filet minion. Almost the same as a t-bone, just a smaller portion of the tenderloin. That's also why I love it
Where I live, Texas Roadhouse destroys Outback. But there's some high ass end steakhouses in Dayton Ohio. Should try those. Absolutely killer. Carvers Steaks and Chops, Pine Club, Flemings, Oakwood Club and The Chop House. All absolutely amazing and stupid high quality cuts of meat/service
@@MoInTheCity03form your own opinion, these are franchises and different cooks. .. I went to different Outbacks and tbrh were consistently mid to trash and Roadhouse for me always better

Thats crazy because I had the reverse experience with these two restaurants. Outback was overly salty to the point where I couldn’t taste the meat and Texas Roadhouse had better flavor and texture. I gave Outback two chances and never went back.
I went to two Texas Roadhouse in TX, one in El Paso off of I 10 by the Walmart and another in Katy TX in a strip mall. I got the 8oz filet spare rib combo with seasoned rice and loaded potato both times. Both meals were amazing (for a chain). I think you gotta go to the ones in Texas, where they source their meat is important. I noticed also that Whataburger is awesome in AZ and TX but is ass everywhere else.
I definitely think it's more dependent on the area. Chain wise, I love Texas Roadhouse and Outback, but for me, Longhorn beats both. Texas Roadhouse is better on the wallet, though. 💜
