I like the size. A lot of mini PCs are too small. Something console size is preferred. Smaller than a desktop, bigger than a coaster. Still I wouldn't go with that system. AMD current gen would be better.
If you like the idea of "Diablo Survivors", check out Halls of Torment. It's in the finishing stages of its early access, there's a bunch of stuff to do already. Of the games I tried of this genre, this one clicked with me the most; the more muted aesthetics are easier on my tired eyes. Some of the character/ability combos will definitely put older/weaker PCs to the test=\
Yeah you're better off going the route of the old office pcs and putting the low-profile graphics cards in them. That way you'll end up with a small form factor PC that's around $300-500 but can run games very well at around 80fps high settings.
I am confused. From the size I thought it was going to be one of those with a mobile RTX or RX6600 cards inside, with the extra size for them. Instead we get only an APU with iGPU. AND an Intel at that. I mean....wtf is the point of this device? Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the design, at all. But...why no go smaller with this configuration? Thanks for a very good video.
It's a VERY competent desktop PC, considering it got 13236 Multicore on Cinebench, and it has a pretty decent sized cooler to keep the temps down and let it run all-out. So maybe some of the size is because of the cooling. But really I think it's more of a cost saving measure. It's cheaper to make a bigger product than to make a smaller one that is more efficient as that requires more custom parts and engineering. But you're right, it's basically big enough to squeeze in a low profile GPU. That would have been pretty sweet.
@@TechDweeb Good points there, I mean you have got good points, not just the Cinebench. (bad joke? yes). I really have no issue with the extra size. I just wish it had something better for graphics inside it. Also...I wonder if the high temps you were getting in one of the cores is a glitch (as in bad luck with the thermal paste), or a common thing with this CPU and cooling solution. But yeah, I am fine with the size and design.
I have a Velka 3 case ver. 2.0 and 3.0. It's a 4 liter gaming PC. If I put duct tape on all the holes and tried pouring a gallon of milk in my empty case, it would not hold the whole gallon. It's smaller than a shoe box but it weighs more than most full towers. I've got a 3060ti in it right now, I can upgrade to a 4060 if I want. The PSU does sound like a jet engine.
With that size and no dedicated GPU? Sounds strange looking for example HG99X. Great video anyway, keep waving those hands! Edit: Less than 500€ (Chuwi) cant be compared vs almost 1000€ (Minisforum) minipc. Its ok then!
@@ooferrell the HX99g with the new RX 6650M (6600M was the old one) is now for +/- 700€ barebone on minisforum web. I think I already have my Christmas gift decided!

I think this is a good PC but not for gaming. With so many options with PC handhelds this doesn't seem ideal for a gamer to choose this over Deck, Ally or Legion Go especially due to the size and weight.
well the way intel is going now if they want to compete with AMD in this segment their mini PC's will have to come with a 360mm AIO at least, maybe more. Look at the ram chiplets, hynix, samsung or micron thats all you need to know.
Too many display holes and USB 3 holes, not enough USB 4 holes. NOR CAN YOU TRUST THEIR WEBSITE. Which only lists one display and one HDMI hole. Also says the Ethernet is capped at 1Gbps. HMM... Well done Chuwi. BUT the lack of 2 USB 4 ports, let alone 1 when you have the lanes for it and the inclusion of 4 DISPLAY OUTS even though this machine can't POWER WISE SUPPORT IT, makes it a pass. Even at $396.
Haha yeah their website kinda sucks. It shows the RAM as 4800mhz, but mine had 5200mhz. At least we get MORE on the actual device - it's like false advertising but in a good way :P
Everyone moaning about frames per second when our brains can only process around 30 FPS, this is why bladeforce on the 3DO looks nice and smooth when it's only running at 24 fps. The extra frames? Subliminal advertising and subliminal tools for control, lol
I absolutely LOVE what you got going on in your videos! No extra bullshit. Straight to the point. No barrage of numbers, just real world usage. 💜🤘🏼

No dedicated GPU with a pre-meteorlake intel CPU is a big no-no. If it was a Ryzen 7840/7940 sure.
Hi, the dead here... We are upset with the lack of respect for our opinion.
I'm fine with that.

"This mini pc may or may not be the size of a desktop pc power supply"
Looks cool, but AMD APU would fit it better imo...
hello, is it possible to lessen noise? maybe any fan curve or bios options.
That thumbnail is also what i say to myself "its not mini"
what was the racing game you where playing?
Horizon Chase
thank you kindly!@@TechDweeb

I wonder what emulation would be like?
Wish it came with one of those Intel dedicated graphics, like it is big enough to accomodate on soldered on the board
Can you connect and power it from a USB-C Monitor?
Horizontal PCs that look like games consoles 🔥 🔥 🔥
Will it handle all the 12t Hyperspin?!?!

Intel iGPU still cannot catch up with Ryzen APU 😒.
Which mini pc can play PS3 games???
What CPU and GPU do I need to emulate PS3 games????
