The problem is finding a black hole system with a high danger beacon. And for best effect, all combat ships need built in Solar Shielding to become the most terrifying jungle units.
For some reason, the solar shielding works on all hazards not just corona, and solar flare. Yes, that included the black hole. SMod solar shielding makes your ship immune to everything.
@@motog6436 I've been there did it with a 300k derelict fleet. It was too funny to see them just drifting around while my onslaughts and paragons melted them away
In nexerelin, you can get a mission from a special contact to build remnant stations, like how you can get missions to build pirate bases. Maybe this is how this happened
@@mattsmith4027 No. AI is generally smart enough to avoid hazards, especially as they get low on CR. Solar corona drains CR slower and also pushes away from itself. Event Horizon pulls in and AI doesn't know how to use EBrun to escape it if they accidentally drop into the center.
While I'd say abusing black hole Combat Readiness reduction would be a banned strat for any kind of leaderboard (Conceptually. There doesn't have to actually be one), fantastic video regardless. I, for one knew about both the black hole CR degen and how to mitigate it, but never put two and two together. Will definitely keep a lookout for this going forward, and most likely try it exactly once and then personally ban it. I actually fought my first major black hole battle recently (a bounty fleet had fallen into one), unprepared. Peak Performance Times were 10-30sec for each ship. While my initial plan probably would have worked - deploying a few ships at a time and relying on the enemy fleet running out of CR before mine. To my delight, a single noncombat ship had a nonvanilla hullmod that reduced CR degen effects by 50%, which gave it enough of a combat presence to quickly mop up the enemies instead of having to wait them out.
Nice. This tactic can be used on a certain end-game bounty. Even if they don’t spawn in a BH system they will follow the player, the zealots. Really easy to lure them in the BH, use a story point to disengage and e-burn away, far enough so they won’t detect you. Wait a bit. Sensor burst and they’ll e-burn out of the BH. Of course, cheese, but it’s fun to do once.
They seem to be very good at dodging the blackhole.. Anyway to get them to pile in? An observation I made is they tend to make more mistakes the more fleets they have chasing me.
likely to drive up the fleet DP so the Ordos will actually spawn. I saw it mentioned in another video the the guy filled his fleet up with a bunch of Prometheus Tankers so that he could actually get multiple ordos to swarm him.
true in other videos, but here they are actually to increase visibility. You see, the Ordos must actually see you in the black hole and that requires a big sensor profile.
shields are disabled when you run out of CR, he got the [REDACTED] CR low with running circles around the black hole with them chasing and only needed to be in combat range for a little while for their CR to hit 0
Nope, being at less than 50% CR give the ship system random malfunctions, like no weapons, no engines, or in this case NO shields. 0% means around ~75% of crap happening every second.
Black hole reduce your readiness and durability when you are in them and it works for Ai fleet too so thats why, he was just waiting for the remnant fleet to be crush by the black hole before going into the fight ☺️
0% CR causes the shield system to fail completely. On top of the ship blowing itself apart from the stress on the parts and depleted maintenance parts.
Outside observers note this battle took 374 years to conclude.
hehe, relativity joke
Heh, he flew into the center. That battle will take ∞ years.

it say it in the description if you read it if you add it as a S mod it negate all environmental effect at 100%
Andrada gives you solar shielding and asks you: "Do you believe in gravity?"
He probably doesn't.
Well then... I know what I'm planning on doing on my next run, I guess.
Solar shielding super OP.
damn your so lucky a remant nexus spawned in a black hole. never in over 20+ seeds and runs have I encountered a remnant nexus in such a system.
I've had a max level AI bounty fleet spawn in a black hole system and get stuck all by itself, but never a beacon
@@motog6436 I've been there did it with a 300k derelict fleet. It was too funny to see them just drifting around while my onslaughts and paragons melted them away
Would it not work in a solar corona as well?
