I can't believe that F!Shez got dissed hard by Byleth from that +20 more spd than human infantry foe in her prf skill, but that's kind of what I love about her base kit. Despite the spd condition, they really made her legendary alt based more on who she is as a character from three hopes, giving her balance. She may be strong with great nuking potential, but she's also not game breaking either.
I like the new graphics your using there when going through each banner unit. Also to comment on the engage banner in January I'd say there won't be a rearmed character that month don't really see a brand new non alt character getting the rearmed treatment for that reason I think it could be a while before we see another rearmed or ascendant assuming we get back to back engage banners like we did for 3H when that came out.
it could possibly be a rearmed and ascended engage hero to celebrate fire emblem engage next month, but I'm trying to go in blind, so I don't even know who is deserving or not, but I'm super excited to play it, got the special edition and everything
I'm excited to summon on this banner with all of the great fodder and units that I don't have copies of, like L!Ninian and L!Lilina. L!F!Shez also looks like a ton of fun to play with since I love player phase nuking. Personally, I like the change with the added pros and cons since it gives me a quick and easy to understand summary of a unit. F!Shez is pretty amazing, but the only downside I see is that we may likely not get a L!M!Shez in the future. There's a reason why we ended up getting L!F!Byleth, despite getting L!M!Byleth before her, and yet no L!M!Robin or L!M!Corrin...

But there is also Winter Sothis who I think has the same effective damage neutralisation, WTA against Shez AND is getting her refine soon and I don't know why, but something in my bones tells me, that she probably will become a (hard) counter to Shez haha. :D

I love how well Shez's kit is based around how she plays in Three Hopes. In her personal class her light attack string involves throwing her swords, hence dagger unit. She also gets combat arts that makes her effective against almost every enemy type, while still getting dunked on by Byleth - even in the routes where they join forces, she acknowledges that Byleth is her equal or better. The Oath skills represent her battlefield teleportation, and as has been pointed out, both Legendary Byleths who have merged with Sothis shut down her biggest strengths. She's a really solid unit with clear strengths and weaknesses while representing so much about her home game. This is what a Legendary SHOULD be. 😁

Really great video as always. I really enjoyed how informative you were with the builds and with the tier list of the fire legendary units. I feel like it would've made more sense for L!FShez to be a red dagger unit instead, since she throws swords at you, plus she can also learn dark magic in Three Hopes (specifically being able to learn Dark Spikes from the Asura class that she appears as here). Also dark magic is associated with the red color in feh, so yeah red dagger would've made more sense. Anyway hope you didn't mind my long-ish rant in the end.
I remember the final move of Shez's faster combo to be her/him throwing the sword forward and then re-summonning it, so maybe that's why they made her a dagger? Might be far-fetched but still haha
WIld how everyone forgets that phantom speed is a seal, which would mean that you only would need enough base speed for a quad to guarantee effective dmg against everything. Guaranteeing the effective dmg matters far more than anything else.
IS felt bad that Hans outclassed F!Shez, so they gave her a legendary alt to make up for it, at the cost of the amount of ass beating she faced from Byleth in three hopes, love that reference. XD

Still using L!Hector and he still does his job well during Fire Season. He's such a good unit, but I really hate how Arena Scoring screws him up sometimes.
I haven't seen anyone using Baby Hector. He's such a powerhouse for me and I was able to streak 8 wins in Summoner duels with him, Baby lucius and L!Ninian.
I'm gonna be summoning just to finish my merges on legendary Myrrh. She's +5 right now, and I've got 700 orbs saved. The last banner she was on was Dierdre, and I summoned 8 of her. I now have a +7 Deirdre. I had 700 orbs then too, and got 6 Myrrhs (I got extremely lucky to get the amount of legendaries I did, I got 2 Faes as well). Wish me luck everyone o7
I'm not fully sold on A/S solo seal on her, due how it works (or rather not) with her A/S Oath. Personally I'm thinking of equipping Phantom Spd on her as it should help her a lot taking down the potential infantry threats via teleports and nuking 'em out first. not to mention helping her greatly to sustain the Charge Effect on her weapon. Heck, she could turn out to be a rather frightening Galeforce user with Prf/S.Spiral 3-4/AS Oath 4/Phantom Spd, unless I'm very mistaken and missing something out of course. Would possibly require a bit of support, but in theory she should be able to position/reposition herself well and leave the clean up to her allies once she's had her fun. Either way personally I'm going in to get my boy Claude out of the banner, spark if need be, and I do hope I pull one Shez, or just pull the one Claude I'm after before the moment of Spark arrives. As said, I'm mainly going in for Claude, but using Spark on something else than the shiny new toy always just suuuuuucks... Especially when this shiny new toy seems fun to use hyper-offensive one at that.

Shez is certainly interesting to think about in Arena, she can definitely kill anything, but her mobility might make her a bit harder to use compared to the other fire legendaries, though the +8 to all stats for the enemy phase should help 🤔

Did not expect Shez gets a Legendary Alt after her release a few months ago, but this absolutely a surprise. She has a really great PRF skill and Spd Preempt 3 is a good combination for her. I might pull for her alongside B!Chrom and B!Byleth for merges. F!Shez is the Speed!
Brave effective damage is nothing to scoff at , the only problem I see here ( aside from a preferred A slot rather than B ) is movement since canto almost seems mandatory in arena & is also available on another blue dagger unit named Claude

I often find the Red Colour on these Legendary Banners to be my least wanted. I just don't need swords! Lilina is the only one I really want there! Seliph I'll take for Clash fodder, cause it's good, but I don't even have any units to give it to ATM. Medeus is one of my big wants, really wanna find some good Staves to work around him as a big mega tank. Also L!Ninnian for Lasers. Planning to get myself a good Nah from HoF, to pair with Shez. Got enough orbs to spark stored up, so just hoping nothing too insane comes in the next month. I swear if Katarina gets a new alt suddenly I'll scream. I'm also curious what will be coming in the next Fallen Hero banner, which shouldn't be too far off. Been getting random F!Lillith like crazy.
I don't like pulling for Shez but instead im getting some duplicates of Legendary Ninian because of yeah, shes insane being a combat dancer. Really liked her a lot.

The blue pool is so stacked in this. I may spend all my 600+ orbs. I've tried to save up over the year and I spent 140-160 on several banners. Still a good orb budget right now though.
IS can have my orbs, caution to the wind. Ninian has been my primary saving goal, and she's sharing with an amazing unit and a good unit with amazing fodder.

I love to use Eitri. I still remember back in the day that her flat canto 2 for turn 1-4 is considered not good and people came around it due to meta of early turns win and the arrival of 5 turns only Summoner Duels
The three of them went through the assassin line of classes which in 3H were sword units and in FEH, are dagger units. The only reason Shez is a dagger is to let her throw her swords at range, not because she is an assassin.
I've managed a +4 B!Byleth just from RNG luck pulling on other banners and I've had a lot of fun with her, so I'm probably goign to try for a couple of merges on her.
the effective damage effect is what legendary dimitri should have had to reference atrocity 😔 alas, he was released too soon. the number of ranged nukes in this game is definitely making it very difficult to compete in certain game modes tho 😅
Imo if shez had like 2 more eff like slaying and omni +5 she would be way better also something like canto or maybe even NFU she would be up to par with the current meta, not to say shez bad (pun intended) but she definitly falls in comp to some of our current threaths. Id even say Ninja Laegjarn is better simply cuz she built bulky and has slaying.
I think the next New Heroes banner may be a return to form if it is Engage, considering IS will probably want to get a bunch of new characters out the door to advertise Engage.
I know that some people don't think shez is that good but I like her but right now there's just so may great banners out and some are probably coming next month. Lucky enough legendary characters are reran often.
I still make the argument that while Brave Seliph is more "out of the box" ready than Brave Chrom, Brave Chrom is far more versatile and for that reason I still argue he's a better overall unit. Brave Chrom, Summer Edelgard, Askr, and Yuri to me form one of the most powerful AR-O cores in the game because they allow you to pretty much Galeforce from any position. The synergy is extremely powerful with Askr giving buffs, Chrom giving Yuri the Null-Follow Up Buff which he can take for himself along with Yuri's extra movement, Yuri positioning units and deactivating traps for them while potentially sniping an out of position target, and Summer Edelgard functioning as a battering ram to break down the front door of a AR-D set up. Brave Chrom is integral to this set up because A Fate Changed giving him an extra action after Repositioning a unit can give you the flexibility to either Galeforce an opposing team or play Hit and Run. I have honestly just found this to be a lot more valuable to me than my Brave Seliph who basically functions like a guided missile on AR-D. Brave Chrom has also come in clutch for me in situations where I needed to tank Brave Seliph in AR, since it isn't too hard to pump Brave Chrom's speed high enough to overcome Brave Seliph. All in all, I think it's fine to argue that because Brave Seliph is so powerful without any support, he's the "best," unit from CYL6 because he certainly doesn't need any help to be a powerful unit that you have to gameplan around, I'm just of the opinion that the "best," unit is the one unit who does the most to affect winning and in a game like FEH where you almost never rely purely on one unit, the one who does that the most in my opinion is Brave Chrom.

I would say no. Her weapon already grants her guaranteed follow-up for doubles. It is a significant stat swing but generally there are better B skills that are more versatile

I think Edelgard deserves to be a lot higher tbh. Sure summer Edelgard is very broken but legendary Edelgard is still one of two units who can attack 3 times which is probably the strongest or one of the strongest things you can do in the game. So I don't think being outclassed in a unique strong role is really a downside unless you are strictly comparing the two Edelgards as is still an advantage over every other unit in the game that she has the potential to do so.
Problem is most of the time she wont be killing as she has a lack of follow up and DR so not onlywill she not be killing but also dying with how strong reds are and blue units like idunn can ez not die
Colorless is a gold mine for me as I really want to try and +10 my L!Claude (he's +4 atm) and my Medeus is +8 and my B!Byleth is +5 so I can potentially +10 them too
Talking about the next mythic banner. How high of a chance do you think we will get Gullveig as a mythic or do you think she will be one of the new hero? So far for the last three TT, we got Rearmed Lif, Ascended Eir, and Rearmed Ganglot on the new hero banner. This TT we are on has all the heroes from our seasonal banner. Do you think Gullveig will be a mythic hero or more of an ascended hero?
Isn’t Gullveig the big bad of the new book? 110% absolutely gonna be mythic. Every big bad since book 3 has been that. And since book 4 they’ve also been paired with another unit (Freyja with Plumeria, Eitri with Thorr, Embla and Veronica). I don’t really see a scenario where they’re gonna make her a permanent pool unit

It's always right at the end. Which will be end of year next year.
@@trevorscheer7544 That is usually how it is, but chapter 13 did not release towards the end of next year like they usually are which points to the big bad being on the duo legendary/mythic banner. Instead, they did it toward the end of this year. I have a feeling we will get two newer big bad that is coming toward the completion of book VI. It is hard to tell with how they release chapter 5 and 13 first in book VI, instead of chapter 1 and 2. We will know come January who we get.

That is why the chapters are going in a crazy order, also because this books story is divided into past, present and future. So the first chapter (13) was the future, while the second chapter (5) was the present. Of course it is possible, that there is another even bigger bad behind Gullveig, so that she gets treated like Letizia or sth in the last book, but I don't know for this book I kinda doubt that...which means I think Trevor is right about, that Gullveig will be very likely available at the end of Book VII.

Here’s some very useless trivia. F!L! Shez is the first legendary unit released in December to not be a tome unit. Thought IS would keep the tradition going but at least she’s ranged I guess so close enough.
She desroys B!Seliph,, but he is also fast. She has trouble breaking through my B! Dimitri and couldnot break B!Edelgard on the highest difficulty map, and Shez can go down fast to a counterattack.

At long last, "effective against everything" has been realized. And like with Petra, blue daggers can substitute for swords apparently.

Still using L!Hector and he still does his job well during Fire Season. He's such a good unit, but I really hate how Arena Scoring screws him up sometimes.
I also hate how it screws up early gen units in general, remember what happened to L!Ryoma
I haven't seen anyone using Baby Hector. He's such a powerhouse for me and I was able to streak 8 wins in Summoner duels with him, Baby lucius and L!Ninian.
I'm gonna be summoning just to finish my merges on legendary Myrrh. She's +5 right now, and I've got 700 orbs saved. The last banner she was on was Dierdre, and I summoned 8 of her. I now have a +7 Deirdre. I had 700 orbs then too, and got 6 Myrrhs (I got extremely lucky to get the amount of legendaries I did, I got 2 Faes as well). Wish me luck everyone o7

I'm not fully sold on A/S solo seal on her, due how it works (or rather not) with her A/S Oath. Personally I'm thinking of equipping Phantom Spd on her as it should help her a lot taking down the potential infantry threats via teleports and nuking 'em out first. not to mention helping her greatly to sustain the Charge Effect on her weapon.
Heck, she could turn out to be a rather frightening Galeforce user with Prf/S.Spiral 3-4/AS Oath 4/Phantom Spd, unless I'm very mistaken and missing something out of course. Would possibly require a bit of support, but in theory she should be able to position/reposition herself well and leave the clean up to her allies once she's had her fun.
Either way personally I'm going in to get my boy Claude out of the banner, spark if need be, and I do hope I pull one Shez, or just pull the one Claude I'm after before the moment of Spark arrives. As said, I'm mainly going in for Claude, but using Spark on something else than the shiny new toy always just suuuuuucks... Especially when this shiny new toy seems fun to use hyper-offensive one at that.

Shez is certainly interesting to think about in Arena, she can definitely kill anything, but her mobility might make her a bit harder to use compared to the other fire legendaries, though the +8 to all stats for the enemy phase should help 🤔

@@looneytunesshowbestlola5627 most meta units right now are beast and dragon or cavs theres like little infantry units to worry about at least the one that i know of. But that means shez would rip embla apart if she gets baited out of a far save unit.

Did not expect Shez gets a Legendary Alt after her release a few months ago, but this absolutely a surprise.
She has a really great PRF skill and Spd Preempt 3 is a good combination for her. I might pull for her alongside B!Chrom and B!Byleth for merges.

Speed Preempt is gonna be dog on her, she only gets the effective damage when initiating.

Brave effective damage is nothing to scoff at , the only problem I see here ( aside from a preferred A slot rather than B ) is movement since canto almost seems mandatory in arena & is also available on another blue dagger unit named Claude
Yeah, she should have had an assist prf too, like Yuri’s Foul Play, or Canto (2).

The blue pool is so stacked in this. I may spend all my 600+ orbs. I've tried to save up over the year and I spent 140-160 on several banners. Still a good orb budget right now though.
Yeah, the best thing is to wait and see what we get for the upcoming seasonal, CYL, and Engage banners.
IS can have my orbs, caution to the wind. Ninian has been my primary saving goal, and she's sharing with an amazing unit and a good unit with amazing fodder.

I love to use Eitri. I still remember back in the day that her flat canto 2 for turn 1-4 is considered not good and people came around it due to meta of early turns win and the arrival of 5 turns only Summoner Duels

Shez is the 4th Fodlan unit to transition from swords to daggers. We previously had Kronya, Petra and Yuri, who were also sword units in 3H.

The three of them went through the assassin line of classes which in 3H were sword units and in FEH, are dagger units. The only reason Shez is a dagger is to let her throw her swords at range, not because she is an assassin.

Vital Astra is only for melee physical units (lance, axe, sword) so L!Shez cannot inherit it :)

the effective damage effect is what legendary dimitri should have had to reference atrocity 😔 alas, he was released too soon. the number of ranged nukes in this game is definitely making it very difficult to compete in certain game modes tho 😅

Imo if shez had like 2 more eff like slaying and omni +5 she would be way better also something like canto or maybe even NFU she would be up to par with the current meta, not to say shez bad (pun intended) but she definitly falls in comp to some of our current threaths. Id even say Ninja Laegjarn is better simply cuz she built bulky and has slaying.
I think the next New Heroes banner may be a return to form if it is Engage, considering IS will probably want to get a bunch of new characters out the door to advertise Engage.
I know that some people don't think shez is that good but I like her but right now there's just so may great banners out and some are probably coming next month. Lucky enough legendary characters are reran often.

I still make the argument that while Brave Seliph is more "out of the box" ready than Brave Chrom, Brave Chrom is far more versatile and for that reason I still argue he's a better overall unit.
Brave Chrom, Summer Edelgard, Askr, and Yuri to me form one of the most powerful AR-O cores in the game because they allow you to pretty much Galeforce from any position. The synergy is extremely powerful with Askr giving buffs, Chrom giving Yuri the Null-Follow Up Buff which he can take for himself along with Yuri's extra movement, Yuri positioning units and deactivating traps for them while potentially sniping an out of position target, and Summer Edelgard functioning as a battering ram to break down the front door of a AR-D set up.
Brave Chrom is integral to this set up because A Fate Changed giving him an extra action after Repositioning a unit can give you the flexibility to either Galeforce an opposing team or play Hit and Run. I have honestly just found this to be a lot more valuable to me than my Brave Seliph who basically functions like a guided missile on AR-D.
Brave Chrom has also come in clutch for me in situations where I needed to tank Brave Seliph in AR, since it isn't too hard to pump Brave Chrom's speed high enough to overcome Brave Seliph.
All in all, I think it's fine to argue that because Brave Seliph is so powerful without any support, he's the "best," unit from CYL6 because he certainly doesn't need any help to be a powerful unit that you have to gameplan around, I'm just of the opinion that the "best," unit is the one unit who does the most to affect winning and in a game like FEH where you almost never rely purely on one unit, the one who does that the most in my opinion is Brave Chrom.

It is a significant stat swing but generally there are better B skills that are more versatile

I think Edelgard deserves to be a lot higher tbh. Sure summer Edelgard is very broken but legendary Edelgard is still one of two units who can attack 3 times which is probably the strongest or one of the strongest things you can do in the game. So I don't think being outclassed in a unique strong role is really a downside unless you are strictly comparing the two Edelgards as is still an advantage over every other unit in the game that she has the potential to do so.
Problem is most of the time she wont be killing as she has a lack of follow up and DR so not onlywill she not be killing but also dying with how strong reds are and blue units like idunn can ez not die

Talking about the next mythic banner. How high of a chance do you think we will get Gullveig as a mythic or do you think she will be one of the new hero? So far for the last three TT, we got Rearmed Lif, Ascended Eir, and Rearmed Ganglot on the new hero banner. This TT we are on has all the heroes from our seasonal banner. Do you think Gullveig will be a mythic hero or more of an ascended hero?
Isn’t Gullveig the big bad of the new book? 110% absolutely gonna be mythic. Every big bad since book 3 has been that. And since book 4 they’ve also been paired with another unit (Freyja with Plumeria, Eitri with Thorr, Embla and Veronica). I don’t really see a scenario where they’re gonna make her a permanent pool unit

Just like Freya/Triandre, Eitri/Thorr and Embla/Veronica before her. Not sure how you're not understanding that. They never release the big bads of the new story this early. Ever. It's always right at the end. Which will be end of year next year.
@@trevorscheer7544 That is usually how it is, but chapter 13 did not release towards the end of next year like they usually are which points to the big bad being on the duo legendary/mythic banner. Instead, they did it toward the end of this year. I have a feeling we will get two newer big bad that is coming toward the completion of book VI. It is hard to tell with how they release chapter 5 and 13 first in book VI, instead of chapter 1 and 2. We will know come January who we get.
@@professorgoat9354 Well the whole book is about time and time manipulation what Gullveig is able to. That is why the chapters are going in a crazy order, also because this books story is divided into past, present and future. So the first chapter (13) was the future, while the second chapter (5) was the present.
Of course it is possible, that there is another even bigger bad behind Gullveig, so that she gets treated like Letizia or sth in the last book, but I don't know for this book I kinda doubt that...which means I think Trevor is right about, that Gullveig will be very likely available at the end of Book VII.
It makes me laugh how much confusion units using swords as daggers is causing when Saber has been using a dagger as a sword since 2018 😂

Here’s some very useless trivia. F!L! Shez is the first legendary unit released in December to not be a tome unit. Thought IS would keep the tradition going but at least she’s ranged I guess so close enough.
She desroys B!Seliph,, but he is also fast. She has trouble breaking through my B! Dimitri and couldnot break B!Edelgard on the highest difficulty map, and Shez can go down fast to a counterattack.
