Hello Bo; Nice to see a Jimi video. The light green label was the original press. Like the original label Experience & Axis Bold as Love. Good hunting at the record show. Jimi was a one of a kind guitarist. Jimi was great at the Fillmore, my husband attended the early show #1 New Years Eve 1969. Take care, Tina
@@tinaferrazzoli8006 wow, to have actually seen him live? Now that must have been something. My parents saw a lot of good artists. Never Hendrix though. I was pretty little when he died so I never saw him either
Electric Ladyland is my favorite Hendrix as well (with Crosstown Traffic being my favorite Hendrix song). Lovely Tri Colored in the bunch. AYE is also excellent, of course.
Smooth jazz and eighties music is not a bad listening vibe to get into. You have some fine Jimi albums. Those UK Track releases are so cool to own. I only have one myself. But it's the good one. The Ladyland pressing. Not bad paying $9.99 for {in my humble opinion} the best Jimi album ever. "Are You Experienced". I also love "Smash Hits" for the UK b-sides. Good to see that you saved some Hendrix. Way to go Bo. What the heck is going on with the Big Bad Bruins this year? Yikes!~ Rob/Boston
@@Paneeks1960 Rob I’d say the Bruins will be ok. Seattle is still seasons away I’m afraid. But it’s all good. I just love hockey. You know why I don’t own smash hits? I’ve been holding out for a copy with the poster. Still haven’t found one.
@@earheadsix4119 If I see one with the poster in good condition I will send it to you Bo. But truthfully. Most of the used Jimi albums that I see are pretty beat up. Seems like most of the Hendrix fans who bought the albums in the sixties and seventies did not know how to handle the albums with care. {smile}
Enjoyed this vid. I was listening to Machine Gun '70 Filmore East today! Hmm. Schmidt rookie, Willie McCovey, Nellie Fox?, is that Aparicio?, 73 Clemente. Ken Stabler poster. That's all I can get without searching. Good stuff!!!
Pretty good eye. I have Fox and Apparicio. But they aren’t displayed. I’ve got a dozen or so SI posters. Some are from the 60s. Maxine Gun was my buddy Sean’s tune. He sang it at every stand to in the desert. lol.
LOL... Got your fighting saints gear on huh Bo. Lord help me it's hockey season again and my hopes for the leafs are sky high. They've improved in goal and on defence. There close. Mathews is finally back tonight... I suppose if you don't have any Hendrix in your collection you ain't a serious collector... He really was something else live and when that first album came out it really blew everybody away. It was a MONSTER.
@@BobbyGass5 more fight in the old fighting saints tee than the kraken had. I was optimistic we might challenge for a wildcard. But it looks like another long season. I watched Toronto tonight too. They were breezing but turned it off too quick. It almost bit them in the butt. Auston is my favorite nhl player. I like mcdavid and Draisital too so I watched a bit of the oilers during breaks kraken debacle.
@@BobbyGass5he did. I have that card. It was after the Seals moved to Cleveland. So the WHA Crusaders moved from Cleveland to St Paul to be the new Fighting Saints. After they folded he ended up with the Whalers. After the merger he had a big revenge game against the leafs.

@@dixielandfarm you, sir, are the king of the tri color steamboat. Without question.
Great Hendrix collection, Bo. Those first three are solid!

@@earheadsix4119 Dave Keon had a stint with those guys if I'm not mistaken. Harold Ballard really screwed him...
