I have used my 1008 since it was brand new 25 plus years ago and can’t seem to allow myself to use anything else. I learned things from this video I never knew about my machine. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect introductory demo. I borrowed my girlfriend's machine and was a little intimidated, since it had been decades since I had done any sewing (and on simpler machines). So THANKS!

Very useful to watch this - I’ve been using old Singer mechanical machines ever since I can remember, but I really need a new machine now. This looks like the one that would suit my needs. Thanks!

Hi Robyn, and thank you soo very much for your concise video. I inherited my late mothers Bernina Record, and it's been sitting in our garages as we've moved house. Not needing to do much with it I've worked my way through bobbins until they were empty. This machine although clearly a newer model seems very similar. Listening to your dialogue has tone of many many hours sitting with mom while she'd sew the hours away. Of course the first mistake I made was to load the bobbin anti clockwise 🙂 seeing you do that fix that little glitch. I can't wait to try the rest of what I know is coming. I'm on 8:36 minutes in.....

I inherited my Mother in Law's 1130 Bernina sewing machine when she passed and this video is such a help to me, While I worked a lot of things out myself, it is nice to learn other finer points like the different feet usage, keep them coming, please. Bromsgrove, Worcs. UK

Thank you for this tutorial. I've learned things I never knew. I'm embarrassed to say I've had my Bernina for 10 years and used straight and zigzag stitches for everything.

The information in this video is really helpful. Unfortunately the camera zooming in and out constantly makes it difficult in some places to follow a long. Motion sickness inducing. :(
