And they resisted the temptation to speed it up or add loads of extra instrumentation, left it as slow, melancholy and thematically perfect as it needed to be.
This show has never been afraid to present psychic battles or conflict as artistic expressions instead of beat-em-ups with glowing figures, and it's so brilliant for that.
FUCK This shit makes me feel everything, all the Davids represents all the feelings so perfectly, this show was from another world, I'm angry it had to end, I'm happy I got to see it and I'm sad I will never expierence this again.
I've rewatched it twice now but that first time watching the series was straight up magical and unlike anything else I've seen. You never knew what the show was gonna throw at you
I judged this show because no one was talking about but I feel stupid because I've seen 3 scenes and this show is absolutely brilliant and right up my alley. It's only right that Legion fights would be mental music videos. Its the only way as an audience could even experience such a an epic omega + level fight.
This is the part I don’t get, from season 2 and on they act as if davids adopted family never existed or didn’t love him when season 1 showed he cared about them
@jmedina6625 for some adopted people, that will never be enough, because they'll always have rogue thoughts in the back of their mind that; "my "real" family didn't love me, didn't want me" followed by the constituent "what's wrong with me?"
Not performed by Waters or Gilmour but one of the best versions of Mother I've heard. Massive PF fan since the 70's and this was just a chill down the spine, goosebumps all over, hauntingly brilliant version. It took me a couple of weeks to figure it all out on my effects board and mix it right but just playing the 12 string along with the whole ensemble is so much fun
@@mr.sercik"deserve" is the wrong word i think. We don't "deserve" anything. The universe simply exists and things happen based on the universes laws. We "need" to be loved would be more fitting. And we all "should" be given love. Because no matter if the receiving person is the best one or the worst one.. they always become better. And therefore making the world better (according to human values at least)
To be fair she seems to have a better understanding of her powers, he became better but even, he became this great because of all his weaknesses, and I think that's the point, he is too strong in power but weak in mind.
Понятно что пинкфлоид оригинал , но в сериале это так лаконично вписалось что мне нравится версия песни именно из сериала легион . Качество здесь говно , мог и лутше выложить .

I'm glad they stuck with Pink Floyd, but this didn't seem like a great fit for the finale season to me. Maybe it's because I've never been a huge fan of this Floyd song. It just feels like this one was... pointed differently than the end of s2 and the buildup of s3 had implied up to this point. At least the solo still hit well.
That lead break is one that breaks a lot of really good guitarists. The change up from the 14th to the 9th fret and the monster bends make it a classicly beautiful song to play on a cutaway acoustic around a campfire. Blows people away
No other series could have used Pink Floyd songs better than Legion, amazing soundtrack and one of the best and underrated series, I just love it
The show kind of made me feel the same way I felt watching The Wall so it's not that much of a big surprise to me
@@cthulucoon yeah, kinda maybe the central idea of the wall and a guy with problems but transformed into a mutant.
For me this really tied the whole show together and it came full circle for me with this scene.
Can you elaborate on that?
It has been an amazing ride and a wonderful show. Thanks for sharing this!
Yes, I agree 😥😥
Finished on a high note and did not drag on with to many seasons like other shows on TV now.
leaves a pit no show can ever fill, but the ending was great.
David finally got what he always needed; love from his mother. A fitting smile from him right at the end. Great scene.
You mean Haller or Gilmour?
@@Alfififian Guy who wrote that song
@@shapeshifter7676 actually it was Roger Waters who wrote the song 😅
Definitely
The sheer balls of the writing- no huge battle at the end, but a song? A musical number? Just what I'd expect from a show this ...brilliant.
Truly. The definition of surprising... Yet inevitable. Once it was happening you realized the show couldn't have ended any other way.

This is a great cover of the Pink Floyd original. More importantly, thank you for posting full video!!!!
I always found the Moshpit of all the Davids just so funny

It's fucking brilliant
The greatest finale ever

Fucking perfection. AWESOME SERIE AND WONDERFUL SONG. FULL OF MEANS FOR DAVID AND HIS MOTHER.
The inner war.
Thanks to his mother loving him at last as a baby he became strong and could free him self from the Shadow king in my opinion.
All he ever wanted was to be loved

Is it weird that I cried during this?
Not weird at all, it's super touching!
Nope, dude. I watched this two months ago on Netflix and the whole series made me cry, this is just perfect.
