Nice collection, well worth the drive and money.

Spent the last couple years gathering 99% of the puch tools. Of course the work station is my prize possession

That big green bench - that would be the dream!

The "most excited about tool" at 14:35 is a Peugeot Clutch assembling stand for testing lining clearance. The first crescent style tool is a Morini sprocket holder. I could use a couple square Bing float bowl gaskets.

Aha, thank you for the clarification on the half-crank tool & that Morini tool. These were all tossed into a toolbox so other than the Puch tools which have numbers we've been guessing. Still going through the many bags of Sachs carb parts

@@TravisTutorial The Myron's tools page is very informative.

"peugeot driving tool" at 12:39 is actually the case splitter
"lollipop" from 14:04 is the batavus m48 flywheel holder, missing one peg
"larger one" at 14:17 maaaaay be a version of the m48 clutch holder, not sure tho
"half crank" at 14:39 looks to be a pug 102 crank to me (clutch side d-slot but waaay short for 103)
"mystery crescent" at 14:58 might be forever a mystery, but check it out in this old lot on treats: www.treatland.tv/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=factory-tool-set-spanners

Outstanding! Thank you so much for the clarification on those tools. Only the Puch tools were stamped with numbers. Nice to see the familiar tool in that treats posting

The half crank is definitely peugeot 102, we've got one new in the bag. I'll check the name on it again

Looks like a great find! I have a puch I'm about to get into I bought from a garage last fall, and have owned 3 mopeds in the past. Very cool dealer tools and nos, such an awesome find!

I think I saw this on MA. Glad someone cool got to it. I am interested in a few parts if you wanna sell as owning 3 Sachs myself. Let me know. Looks like an awesome haul.

Hey I got a question I am working on my 1987 cuyler with a Sachs 505 engine it runs but leaks transmit ion fluid out of the clutch bad. Would you know why?

  • @agent50cc
    @agent50cc 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Just curious, how much would you want for sachs 505, if you wanted to sell?

  • @bjf10

The tool at 15:00 looks kind of like the minarelli sprocket holding tool, P/N 6960, but idk.

@@TravisTutorial Thanks! I haven't seen one in the flesh so it's a bit of a guess.
I also posted a comment about the flat plate with the semi-circular cutout (9:35); but it was deleted (possibly because I included the link).
MLM sells a similar tool for bracing the crankshaft lobe against when you're pushing bearings on. It's on treats as "MLM stainless steel crankshaft holder bearing tool."

Must have been a couple of thousand bucks?
