When you get one best advise I can give is to put a set screw to hold gland nut from working loose. The Ultra and 22MB have had this done because they both have come loose.
Not to be too picky, but Memorial Day honors our military folks who have died serving their country. Veteran's Day honors those who have served our country. I am a 24 year retired Air Force member. Love your videos, please keep them coming.
I was going to correct Bert but I have been correcting on Facebook the last few days and still am not finished. Have a good MD. Getting ready to piss and pour here in southeastern Illinois at 8am. And the thunder rolled!
Ya, I made a mistake. Video took a long time to uplaod while I was out camping without WIFI. Many people use holidays as an excuse to drink. I have many friends and cousins serving our country.
Hi Bert and Adam!!😀😀 Nice job!! So much of the wood was perfect 4 way size. Bert, was that your mom or Adams mom helping? She was really good help!!👍👍 Take care guys!!😀😀💚💚 Logger Al
The Ultra pile push back splitting method. It's been a while since that has been used. 😁 I hope both Adam and yourself have hot tubs to soothe the aching muscles.
Isn't it great to have the perfect size wood to run through a 4 way wedge? It really turns out wood fast. It is great ot have a crew around you moving wood and feeding you. Work always goes faster when it is shared. I would like to know how many cords of wood that splitter has split. It would probably amaze us all.
For 16" split wood, unsacked. 180 cubic feet per cord, is the typical size used. 195cf for 24" wood. . I get about 20 hours out of 7 gal LP bottle, with a 212cc going at 3,600rpm. Do to small split size, and slower hydraulics, mabe 6 cord at most per 7 gals. The west coast no ethanol price, is about 2x the LP at $2.70 . Anyway good job. Wish i could have swung by on my Hoosier veterans trip. Just no time.
Nothing but splitting and music?... two of my favorite things!
I'm glad you liked it. We were on a mission to split, so set the camera up for timelapse.
You guys are rocking! Shows how great the little Ultra is. Bert, great video and music
Glad you enjoy it! You can get a lot done when your having fun.
The amount of work ive seen Chris and yall do with this ultra,is the whole reason its the one that i want, thanks great video Bert

When I get one I'll contact you on it,I think I seen y'all do that in older vid,or talked bout it, do you like it more than most the splitters?
@jessejones9830 all the comercial splitters are good.
Great video Bert and Adam, you both did a great job. Definitely a lot of splitting done on 1 tank of gas. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks. The ultra is a monster if you can keep it fed.
Beats splitting by hand! Have a great Holiday weekend.
Could you imagine? Wow!
Definitely wouldn't have split that much by hand is less than 3 hours
That’s some excellent cord mileage right there . 3 cord threw ole buster would equal 6 gallons. . Them ultras sure are quick splitters . .
The 4 way wedge makes a big difference. But Ole Buster is fast for a single wedge.

That's right 👊

Yep, many do that. I like to keep my drinking of adult beverages simple. I only drink on days that end with a "y". 😃
@@ClarenceObert or have an "a" in them as well.
Them ultras will work couple guys really hard. Keep up the good work.
It sure does. It is a fun machine to run
Good video guys. Even with nice equipment and good help, that is a lot of work.
Yes it was! Good equipment makes it easier.
Hi Bert.😁
Happy Memorial Day to all.
That’s a great workout
Yes it was. We were sore the next day.
@@BertsCustomCuts yes I can imagine
Bert you and Adam make a great team . Remember to Honor our fallen soldiers on Memorial Day. Have a blessed weekend
Thanks. It's a good relaxing weekend.
Wow!! Lots of splitting!! Y'all made short work of that wood Y'all cut up!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Adam said they would finish it when he goes down next. I will be gone and not able to go with.
Lots done. Great splitters.
Fast splitters are awesome. Have used it enough now that it seems slower than the first time using it.
👍🏻👍🏻
Hi Bert Happy Memorial Day to all That's a great work everyone ( Ty Ron
Hope you're having a good Memorial Day weekend as well. We cut camping short due to rain.
Many Hands Make Light Work!
Many hands do make light work.
A larger table would be beneficial with a couple of people feeding it. I'm sure you already know that. Great videos
Someday may have to make a table for it
Ultra fast splitting!👍💪👍
We were sore the next day but still had fun.
Good video and great splitting session 👍
Glad you enjoyed it

Adam's mom helped for a bit.
Very good ❤❤❤
I'm glad you liked it.
What was in that holster before you recorded the into?
My kinda folk!!!
That's my phone case.
Your shirt looks just like a Stihl owners pants leg with the big stain!🤣
Thanks to all those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom!🇺🇸🇺🇸
My shirt was sent to me from Ann when I smashed my finger. Are you implying that Sthils leak.
@BertsCustomCuts No...Never!!🤣🤣

Hot tub would be nice. I have one that needs to be fixed but haven't yet. We discussed that the foot on jack needs a bigger pad so it doesn't dig in.
Saunas are more beneficial than any hot tub for muscle relaxation. Also better for respiratory function and lowering blood pressure. 😊😊😊

I didn't make it to HFH this year either.
@BertsCustomCuts I'm the crazy west coast guy, that showd up in a beater with a heater prius and harbor freight trailer.
To the HFH.
LOL
Hopefully I can make it next year. My daughter had dance competition that weekend.
🎉
Thanks for watching
Is this ITW wood or for your boiler?
This was for Adam's mom and dad for their boiler.
Nice sweatshirt! How do you score one of them?
I got it because Andrew gave me a hard time wearing my wolfridge sweatshirt with eastonmade video. Told him I didn't have an eastonmade sweatshirt.
@@BertsCustomCuts I guess I will have wear my Dyna sweatshirt in a Bert’s Custom Cuts video.
Are You and Adam related or just good friends?
Good friends.
Not sure I’m a big fan of the Charlie Chaplin music
Over time I'll find some better music.
For some reason the term TINPAN comes to mind for that music. Not sure why, just one of those odd things that come to this old mind. Lol
Great Video!!! That ULTRA is a fantastic machine! It's Kenny proof!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🪵🪓🌲🪓🪵🌲🪓
I think Chris breaks more stuff than Kenny.
@@BertsCustomCuts true, Chris is more clumsier than Kenny
Thanks for the love
