how great it would be to have the entire meghadhutam recited by prof. Rama subramanian in this melodious mandhakranta metre and we could get the privilege of listening to it ! :) Thanks a lot professor.
Enjoyed listening to Professor Ramasubramaniam on the poetic splendor of Kalidasa with particular focus on Meghadootam. It had the silken and soft texture one associates with clouds. The conversational style also carries a concern for the listener; one felt that it resembled Kalidasa's conversation with the Megha.
Everything is fine except 40 minutes forcing verbal diarrhoea in intro. The one thing this pundit is to restrict his laugh with no reason. Well deserved award for his knowledge.
