Most underrated album of the most underrated band with a very underrated singer of the many they had. Yes, the sound is not the best. But there is a lot of heart here. Well done VR and props to mr Morgan Thorn, i don' t give a damn if i am alone in this one
Indeed! Thorns voice reminds me of Bruce Dickinson on Accident of Birth and on Chemical Wedding. Songs have some similarities too; quite heavy, slightly down tuned, but very melodic, great album!
Gonna be a needless contrarian and put in my two cents that I actually like the vocalist and production. Nothing wrong with a raw sound, especially for classic metal. Reminds me a lot of Liege Lord's Master Control.
After carl albert died, R.I.P., the band had a problem to find someone suit to replace him, but they didn't find, the vocalists that came after were decent but nothing more exept from the vocalist from warbull album, they also tried to find a new style, it was more modern day metal than the original style, it was in 2006 they returned to do better stuff, their album warbull from 2006 was the last great album but they still release decent albums even after, thanks for sharing.
It's NOT Groove Metal, it sounds NOTHING like Machine Head, or GREEN by Forbidden VR was/is Power Metal, like someone else clarified...Harder than any Rock, not quite Thrash Metal...

I got Wintersbane Redivivus, Vicious Rumors Cyberchrist, Vicious Rumors Sadistic symphony.
People don't believe me, this shit is some of the best shit ever, they opened up for Savatage on the Streets tour Vicious Rumors sounded like Overkill but better, Digital sounds like Queensryche, Cyberchrist sounds like Pantera, the opening song starts with the old dile up AOL internet, Cyberchrist might be better than Sadistic symphony, Chris Connor I think his name is also on a half German band called Consfearacy, there are two bands with that name, and they are both good, one from Germany, one from Slavakia.

I loved Carl, especially on Digital Dictator, but, Morgan Thorne has become one of my favorite singers...
