Death to "cloud computing" itself. What an absolutely stupid idea. Bring everything back in-house. Software, data, everything. Screw "cloud computing" devised by control-freak tech giants.
In my youth, I worked for a major payroll company as a developer. Everything in house. When we had hardware issues, we packed up the backup tapes and ran payroll at a different site and brought the results back. It was labor-intensive. But it didn't cause the whole damned world to blue-screen.
