Holy cow,, eye opening, putting an altogether more valuable significance on Lydia and her hospitality. Thank you Samantha ✝

I have just finished watching a second time and am astounded at the depth of church influence with hospitality. Brings to mind the mustard seed that of faith growing into a tree where all the birds of the air could rest. Is that not what we have prayed WWWG and now Community might accomplish?

Glad you enjoyed it! I had never before put any thought into what Lydia’s life was like-and was so surprised at how much we learned about her!

Was that the actual house of Lydia or a house comparable to hers?

Great question! This house is in Pompeii and is comparable to the style house that Lydia would have lived in based on her social status and wealth from the purple trade.

The text reader voice is annoying.

🤔 Well James, sorry to say that’s my actual human voice speaking through the entire video. I’m not a fan listening to my own voice either 😂 Hope you found something redeeming about the content of the video and maybe learned something about Lydia and the early church!
