Pointless having a parade in Airdrie. Firstly it was such an early start which made the day stupidly bad. Secondly there was a poor attendance and thirdly the Unionist protest just wrecks the day.

Hardly pointless...remembering one of the greatest moments in British, Irish and European history. Bringing freedom and civil and religious liberties to the UK and wider British empire.

***** Nope nobody Europe thinks it slightest importance so most europeans don't know what 12th is it only important to Brits in NI and some in Scotland. religious liberty to Protestants only we Catholics suffered still suffer now wanna be British go back to Britain stop being in Ireland hate our culture so much you king was back by the pope don't know with makes him really a tag lover and he was gay, Easter rising more well known in world and Europe then so British dirty rebellion civil war in 1690. Loyalist aren't christian they spread hate for originally hitch roman catholic more christian then Protestants.

Obviously they don't but that doesn't mean its not important.
Not many people in the UK think the American 4th July celebrations are important yet they are as it made the USA what it is today the world's leading power.
If you knew your history you would know the Pope out of greet and love of power (typical Roman Catholic church) only supported King William because he feared French domination in Europe and therefore he might lose his power in Rome!!
The Easter Rising is known for being a failed rebellion by a small number of sectarian republicans. More important and respected is the 200,000 Irishmen of all faiths who went, fought and some died on the battlefields of World War 1.

***** How they sectarian wanted Irish independence are cheated by Westminster out fear of Carson and illegal UVF rebelling possibility of slaughtering catholics with Carson always stood up for Irish catholics despite him being Unionist why protestant afraid catholic majority Ireland you cans end your own maps to Dail Eireann I can tell you you wont be persecuted or discriminated like the flawed orange state did to catholics 1922-1998 You nothing fear from 32 country republic orange order can march on 12th hearts content nothing against it We in irish republic not going massacre you like in 1641 big mistake cost Irish 32 country republic then as that was different time era were thing done differently I don't agree with them easter rising only partly failed the Irish fee state came after it and and partly Irish Republic that come from depression 1922-1995-2008 hopefully bright future with looking that way hopefully build good relations with the UK and put all in past IRA UVF sectarianism on both sides respect each others difference culture hatred 51 wins do think Britain and Ireland can be friends. Republicans most resect Loyalist culture and loyalist must respect republican culture that only way i see united Ireland happening. Im Irish Nationalist don't agree IRA action dissent republicans i believe was only increasing partition counter productive.
