Could you have been paying water for the whole apartment complex? There was an older building in Toronto Ca, where the landlord had one tenant paying for water and electricity for 3 apartments. Emilie and Josh, when one door closes, another one opens. Unfortunate things have been a cloud over your lives BUT, I think this place represents an opening up of a new start. Age is more of a factor than gender, this works well because the older boys are also allowed to stay up a bit later than the others.
