Finally, someone who explains clearly and simply without having a 5min introduction and hype themselves up and tell me why I should follow or like or comment or subscribe.
Girl! I effin love you! I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a certain effect that has nothing to do with what you taught here but you explained something and it made sense for me to figure out what I was trying to do so I love you, thank you
I don't have the 2 view Horizontal option, was able to move the camera with different approach but when I hit play picture stays still but the frame is rolling
After Effects updated the layout. To get the multiple view mode with AE 2024 go to View > Switch View Layout > 2 View. Then you'll see the controls pop up same as in the tutorial so that you can switch one of the sections to top view.
Hi, is it possible to couple this software with an external input for navigation in the hallway? That is, if a lab rat is head-fixed amd allowed to walk over a speedbelt, is it possible that the movement of the belt can translate into a movement of the maze (Virtual reality)? Thanks.
If it’s responding in real time you are going to need a software that does real time rendering. Something like Unity or Touchdesigner is where I would start. If you’re creating the video afterwards you technically could use After Effects and input the data manually, but it’s not very efficient and I wouldn’t recommend it. This type of thing is what I studied in university so if you’d like more in-depth help reach out on instagram @science.and.creativity
First check that it's fully rendered before you hit play. Sometimes AE moves in slowmo when it's rendering in real time. If it is rendered and still moving slow there are options. In order for the camera to move you must have set two keyframes. Click the camera layer then hit U to bring up the keyframes you set. There are two ways to make it go faster. 1) move the keyframes closer together 2) place the timemarker on the second keyframe, then move the camera further along in the Z axis (i.e. increase the z position number).

Are you looking for the video to respond in real time to the rat movement or will you be collecting the data and then afterwards creating the video?

Does this work if the same way if I have a Video file? like a 5 second clip of a hallway? or would I need a picture then do this process?

nice tutorial...!!
Would it be possible to mask this with a 2d img like a hallway ?
Awesome!
Very nice
Whenever I try this my camera is moving at a snails pace. Is there to make it go faster?

Can you tell me what should i do a bout the background?
What specifically are you trying to do?

Add the AEP File please.
I did all, but like my computer is exploding and I can’t see the results while playing it
Try switching the rendering output to half or quarter. It will help!
@@St.IvesProductions thank you, I will try:)
Nice tutorial, but the speed is so high!
