I give a reason as to why each book makes it to the list.

I've had that Marie Laveau book on my wish list. New Orleans is the most magical place on earth. I bought a necklace there right outside the cemetery where she's buried and always thought it was my Marie Laveau necklace. I hadn't worn it in awhile so one night on a full moon I took it outside and was like "here enjoy the full moon." Went back in and like 15 minutes later there was this enormous crash. A huge wall clock in my kitchen had jumped off the nail. Never happened before or since. Guess she was happy to see that moon ☺

I’ve read the Marie Laveau book, it really is interesting! Thanks for that in-depth review of Astrea Taylor’s Air. I’ve enjoyed Intuitive Witchcraft, it’s one of the few that’s got little tabs all over. I originally purchased the Kindle version and ended up getting a physical copy, as well. Another one I’ve loved is Anatomy of a Witch by Laura Tempest Zakroff. There is so much interesting and useful stuff in there; I’ve read it once but will definitely have to go back through it. 😊

Anatomy of a Witch is one that I don’t have, so I’ll be looking to invest in that one, thank you! The Magic of Marie Laveau is incredible - she was one amazing woman. ♥️

I read the book by Rae Beth a few years ago; I have the Marie Laveau book. A side note: I visited Marie Laveau's grave in New Orleans. The entrance to the graveyard is guarded; we took a walking tour and the whole cemetery was fascinating. Haven't read the book yet, but I have read several about Marie Laveau-fascinating woman. Oh, and the tour took us by one the the houses she had lived in! Audible has Rae Beth's book and the Blood and Bones book for starts. They have quite a few books. Best way to find them is through a search. I would still get physical copies of these books for highlighting purposes. Audio books are great for when you cannot sleep. I use them to go to sleep to. Also, if you are sick being read to by a good reader is the best experience. I am careful not to go to sleep by scary books. Don't want those things entering your dreams for sure! I think that's the problem, I listen to podcasts and always fall asleep! So it's probably hard copies for me, but I love that they do these sorts of books as audio books, too, that's awesome.
How amazing that you visited Marie Laveau's grave, I bet that was really poignant and touching! I think you would enjoy this book, it's a good social commentary on what things were like at the time, which makes you realise what a character she really was. I think I'm going to have to read it again, all this talk of her makes me feel so happy and inspired to read about her again. Wishing you a happy weekend, Jenn!

We're a lot of the way through now! At least what you haven't read you can save for next winter. I think the spring and summer months are definitely about getting outside and doing hobbies a bit more. Winter is for staying in and reading. :)

Hello beautiful thank you for your amazing video I love all of your recommendations they seem very interesting. I think you are amazing at how many books you have read. I have listened to some audible books which are very refreshing for example WITCH by Lisa Lister and SELF SORCERY also by Lisa Lister I think she is amazing and she is straight to the point Badass. I have listened to The Holy Wild Grimoire by Danielle Dulsky, she too is an amazing Author she too has opened my eyes so much to witchcraft in a great way. 😍 another audible I have listened to is Mari Silva Raise your Vibration she too is an amazing author. I have many of her books on audible and on my Kindle but the main thing is I read when I can. I really love to read. 📙🥰 i really appreciate your content so much wren. Blessed Be.

The best thing is there are so many Witchcraft books out there that very often I haven't heard of the ones you guys share, and I'm sure it's the same for you! I know of Lisa Lister, she is a friend of a friend, though I have not read any of her stuff yet, only the poems and quotes you see floating around online. Literally just ordered Zodiac Types (last copy on Amazon!) Looks really interesting and I'm very keen on place attachment and room placement (just finished a psychology degree) using Feng Shui and Hygge and this book should be helpful. Thanks in advance for the recommendation 😊
