I actually had it by myself in one game, I got flip reset from the side of ball, and then, after 4 these ball wavedashes I moved under the ball, so I could do a normal flip reset that went into a normal flip reset shot. 6:52 This actually uses the mechanic dubbed the ‘Heljump’ discovered by Helvetia Gaming. So basically the front wheels touch the ground and kind of glitch into the ground, then the back wheels touch the ground ever so slightly enabling the user to get another flip. All together, at first he wavedashes then does a forward flip cancel, does a Heljump which makes him get another flip and uses that for a very fast flip cancel, propelling the ball really fast into the goal. I hope this helped! :D
You’re “wavedash on the ball” was just you being right next to the ball and getting multiple quick flip resets. Your car had such little space between the ball that it kept getting all 4 wheels on the ball and barely pushing your car off of the ball. The position of your car, how slow the ball is going, and how fast you flip back into the ball all has to be perfect so thats why it rarely happens. It would be cool to see flip reset freestylers practice this technique to hopefully get a handful of these before shooting the ball. After watching this, I believe it can be done.

So I already figured out what your weird wave dash thing is and how it works. Basically you stalled and the wheels on the right side of your car caught on the bottom side of the bal in just the right way to then give your car torque and reset again on the ball. So catch the right angle again and gravity will allow an "infinitorque"
I found a weird mechanic but don’t have it clipped it was like that stomp I jumped on top of the ball at the perfect time got the flip reset and backflipped then the ball sped up around 100kph
@@rho-kun4789 not really, who thought wall dashing would ever be a thing? if someone said that a year ago you would have said the same thing. In all seriousness though, pretty sure it's not multi flip resets.. as most are saying it's probably lag resets, server doesn't recognize the reset but client side does and it just goes haywire
the one with split screen, you can do it without an app, all you have to do is plug in a second controller, and then hold options on your main controller, and you will be able to control 2 cars
I know how the era flick works. First you dodge forward and then stall. And if you let the stall go early then it will let your car keep flipping forward. It also works very well with a musty flick on the ground.
FLuuMP, it's called a double wavedash, where you flip into the ground like a wavedash, but it's slightly Late so you come out of it still flipping, and then flip again.
With the era flick they dodge into the ball then get a wave dash and then they cancel the flip whilst still moving forward to keep the momentum of the car moving forward to get the final hit which is the era flick 😁

He basically cancels his flip, kind of like a no flip, but then just before the flip would normally end he then pushes his stick up again to continue the flip and that is what pops the ball up like that
I think what's happening when you "ball dash" is you just flip resetting a TON of times, because the ball bounces slower off of the wheels it allows you to get multiple resets in one (sort of) touch. So basically you're flip resetting while right under the ball, and by doing that you are bouncing off the ball instead of the ball bouncing off of you (again because the ball bounces softer off your wheels) and letting you jump into the ball, creating the "ball dash".
The Ball Dash is actually a lot of flip resets at once. If you hold powerslide, right air roll, dodge left, and get a flip reset quick enough to stall cancel under the ball, it will look like 5 flip resets at once.
OMG I'm in a Fluump video 😊😊😊😊 I'm Coach_Kissy 😊 I have a Roll Reset Tutorial on my channel if you want to learn it!! I did not discover the move, Pertech did, but he OK'd me making a tutorial - links to his stuff is on the video
Fluump I turned it to 0.25 speed on the wavedash on the ball thing and the way it works is the same as the wall dashing. How it works is you jump but super quickly flip forwards, like you would with a normal wavedash except without the wait for the jump
When you wavedash on any surface in rocket league it results in a force acting on the car pulling it to the surface flat but when you are upside down the gravity physics pull you away, the ball and your car were aligned perfectly so that you could wavedash against the ball and have gravity pull you down AND THEN do it again. Very very precise mechanics but the elite of the elite players will be able to do things like this on command. I hope this helped explain your clip Fluump, love the videos man ❤️
@FLuuMP 5. The Era Flick. The era flick I believe was pulled off by dodging into the ground, not letting the car do a full flip, but in rocket league it will always complete a flip no matter what, therefor from the initial dodge then gives the automatic next dodge giving the flick speed that was done with the ball.
I think you’re just diagonally flipping into the ball the first two times, and for some reason it didn’t change the ball’s trajectory. I think this is something that will be patched. I could be wrong, but it reminds me of the flip resets you could get when you had spikes on, and that got patched as well.
6:23 (the era flick) currently learning this flick, i've gotten a sense on how it's done and should be able to use it in matches soon once i perfect it :) btw on how it's done, (without the ball) this is done by first jumping then tilting your can back so you nose is to the ground, then level out your car a little then flip forward into the ground, as you do this cancel your flip for about 0.2sec or hold back on the analogue stick the let go right after, your car should bounce back up and do another flip. to do this with the ball its what you did before and your set up should be really close to the front of your car. other than this, this is as far as i've gotten in learning this flick. after about 30-45min i've gotten 3 successful flicks.
Basically @FLuuMP how that "era flick" is done is that he simply forward no-flipps into the ground (doing a front flip but cancelling it by holding his left analogue stick down straight away), and since he has done a no-flip his car does't rotate the full amount, so he can then just let go of his left anoalogue stick or push it back up, releasing his dodge with the momentum of the dodge still there. It's not that he is getting another dodge by letting his back wheels touch the ground again, he is just using the momentum from his dodge later than a normal flip, the best way of looking at it is that it's just a delay in the flick/dodge. Hope that cleared it up. great vid dude
This is gonna be hard to explain, but fluump didn't explain the end part right to the sting pop. So basically u have to flip cancel and after a tiny bit of time u "uncancel it"???? It is hard to explain but u launch up. If you are on controller you would do a flip cancel but then pull the joystick back the opposite way and you would lauch up. When I tried it fluump's way I would just stay to the ground cos I kept it canceled. But you NEED to "uncancel" it
Ok, for what’s happening in the final mechanic: so the deceleration of the car is high and the ball is accelerate downward by gravity. Imagine a ballon floating down to the ground. Imagine a pebble bouncing repeatedly on that ballon as they both fall. The ballon (the car) accelerates a little downward and the pebble (the RL ball) gets accelerated a little bit upwards (in brief they accelerate apart) upon contact. THEN both are brought back towards each other by 1) the car slowing due to rockets leagues “air resistance” mechanic that gives airborne things a max speed and a deceleration curve. Think of how a ballon slows shortly after tapping it groundward. 2) the ball accelerates down due to gravity meaning (In brief they accelerate together, air resistance here being upward acceleration by the car/balloon) immediately after contact.
Even if RL cars does not decelerate their descent repeatedly like balloons can easily be observed doing when they pass terminal velocity by downward taps, the other similar cause with the same effect for this mechanic to be pulled off, (TLDR IF AIR RESISTANCE NOT THE REASON) is that that the car does not have the same gravity as the ball. It has been proven even if two objects have different mass that they will accelerate in the same gravity at the same speed (think of the an astronaut lightly pushing off of their space ship in orbit. Same gravity, no air resistance; they are not coming back together without interference from a new force/object. (Or the moon drop; the feather and the heavy thing recorded falling at same speed) The only way the ball could catch up the car repeatedly if not by the cars deceleration is by the ball being pulled down faster and the only way this can be true is higher ball gravity than car gravity. The end thanks for listening. (This is worth testing say by dropping both from the ceiling using mods and see if they fall at same speed so not end of case just end of hypothesis)
6:50 what he is doing is a forward dodge and instantly pulling the analog stick back so he push’s his nose against the ground instead of a reverse half flip. Then before the flip is fully canceled, he let’s go of the analog stick so the flip continues forward
Fluump, I think I may have found how he ( 0:56 ) does that flip. So basically, if you flip forward in rocket league, and as your flipping forward you pull back, it kinda “cancels” your flip, but if you flip, pull back, AND then quickly let go, the flip will reappear giving it that forward jerk motion ( I’m not 100% sure but I tested in out in training and it seems to be how he does it )
For #3 just hold boost through the landing and pull left stick backwards and your car will begin to tilt nose up from the ground, I do that sometimes during panics. For # 1 it looks like the ball is falling downwards faster than the car based on their way of travel, so the wave-dashing motion is caused by the collision between the ball and the car, cushioned by the wheels, which repeatedly transferred the weight from the ball into the car though the bouncing motion until the car is pushed away.
A lot of these are performed with what Ive dubbed the "lame Jump" which is essentially b-hopping. its a normal jump with the propulsion of a double jump, its sort of a short stubby jump that makes each wheel bounce almost indepentantly unlike a normal jump that requires all four wheels to be on the ground. Basically your wheels turn into really deflated basketballs.
Interesting question: If the ball somehow went supersonic from an explosion force (demo or something), what trail color would it have? Would it be purple like in free play?
on the last clip i am pretty sure that the gravity keeps the momentum going down on the ball while u are basically stalling the ball with a dash so when u dash in the air urte momentum downwards vanishes completely so ure wheels gets a soft touch and so that creast the distance, if u didnt dodge imeadiatly u would have gone down faster then the ball since u kinda bounce of the ball
I’ve hit those kind of resets before. I look at it as, if you’re in the right position relative to the ball, and you just spam press jump, you jump off the ball and while you still have the flip for like 2.5 seconds you wave dash back onto the ball, and however long you’re in the right position and spamming jump you can do this.
On the car explosions, if you waych a goal replay, that same lightning bolt that happens when you leave is actually what replaces an explosion, which would lead me to believe that they have the same effect on the ball
6:26 i actually just found out about this on my own. its like a wave dash but you tilt forwards and dodge forwards, then cancel the flip and release the cancel.
I believe that the clip of fluump doing a kinda wave dash on the ball is similar to the first clip the “infinidash” but in this instance you are air rolling into the upward direction of the ball and wave dashing while on the lower side of the ball thus, after your wave dash on the ball, going up the ball, you slide back down a little bit because of the power slide in between the other dodge and wave dash upward again. But that’s just a thought

I found a weird mechanic but don’t have it clipped it was like that stomp I jumped on top of the ball at the perfect time got the flip reset and backflipped then the ball sped up around 100kph
The last one, I said on Twitter that you're probably flipping into the ball, therefore getting multiple rapid resets
honestly one of the dumbest things I heard ngl
@@rho-kun4789 not really, who thought wall dashing would ever be a thing? if someone said that a year ago you would have said the same thing.
In all seriousness though, pretty sure it's not multi flip resets.. as most are saying it's probably lag resets, server doesn't recognize the reset but client side does and it just goes haywire
the one with split screen, you can do it without an app, all you have to do is plug in a second controller, and then hold options on your main controller, and you will be able to control 2 cars
The ball wave dash is just you tiping in the ball right as you come off the ball and the era flick is a flip cancel
2k views and 200 likes in the first 20 mins damn this guys doing well
2:30 FluuMP didn't even leave the link to the first mechanic in the description lmao.
Lol I was gonna comment that
Subbed because of your nice speech in the beginning!
I know how the era flick works. First you dodge forward and then stall. And if you let the stall go early then it will let your car keep flipping forward. It also works very well with a musty flick on the ground.
"Playing splitscreen with himself" *lonley noises*
"Heli Jump" lmfao
Hel jump, you're welcome.
Wow surprised there isn’t 500 of these with 10k likes
9:45 When I was learning to flip reset that actually happened a lot to me
Same
I've only done it once and that was the only time I scored a triple reset
FLuuMP, it's called a double wavedash, where you flip into the ground like a wavedash, but it's slightly
Late so you come out of it still flipping, and then flip again.
With the era flick they dodge into the ball then get a wave dash and then they cancel the flip whilst still moving forward to keep the momentum of the car moving forward to get the final hit which is the era flick 😁
Did you just double upload :O
I've done that ball wave dash on accident before, I thought it was due to in game lag, but I'm not sure.
wow another top 10 list that goes over 10 minutes with 8 ads, amazing content!!!
It really is dropping quickly..

8 adds? I have 3
Oh wow another idiot who thinks it's a crime to make money for your hardwork
omar The guy is taking time out of his life to provide entertainment/training for you and others. Don’t like ads? By all means, petition TH-cam to add an option of paying for someone else’s time upfront in return for no ads. Or, even easier, never go on TH-cam again. Problem solved.
I actually did something like the era flick when I was trying to learn breezi pops. I canceled my back flip and I sorta did a horsedash
He basically cancels his flip, kind of like a no flip, but then just before the flip would normally end he then pushes his stick up again to continue the flip and that is what pops the ball up like that
😢 the sting pop is already a thing I thought I found something that already existed
R.I.P
I think u r stalling on ball dashing
Bruh how can you not be subbed to fluump and are still watching this video
x8w x8w. Bruh I literally am not subscribed but watch all his videos
Ladies and gentlemen, we got 'em.
Sometimes I feel myself like a GC seeing Fluump's air control lmao 😂
But you're not tho huh
OMG I'm in a Fluump video 😊😊😊😊 I'm Coach_Kissy 😊
I have a Roll Reset Tutorial on my channel if you want to learn it!!
I did not discover the move, Pertech did, but he OK'd me making a tutorial - links to his stuff is on the video
Imagine if someone did a road to GC playing split screen where they play both cars and 1 controller
Fluump we saw that other video that you accidentally uploaded and private’s KEKW, 10 things that were rmoved

I’ll call flumes mechanic “the ball suck”
edit just realized this is pretty whack for a name
😳😳😳😳😳😳
10:17 I can do that and I'm gold 3

@FLuuMP
5. The Era Flick. The era flick I believe was pulled off by dodging into the ground, not letting the car do a full flip, but in rocket league it will always complete a flip no matter what, therefor from the initial dodge then gives the automatic next dodge giving the flick speed that was done with the ball.
I appreciate all youtuber who put their advertisement at the end
I think you’re just diagonally flipping into the ball the first two times, and for some reason it didn’t change the ball’s trajectory. I think this is something that will be patched. I could be wrong, but it reminds me of the flip resets you could get when you had spikes on, and that got patched as well.
"" The helli jump ""
....
Yeah I've never heard someone mistake hel jump for heli jump. Ur car never does a heli spin during this tech, so idk how u could get this so wrong
*Warning:* There is no point to watch until the end, it’s just a square space advertisement...
After doing a 2 minutes beg intro. Ugly.
I know I'm a bit late but recently Kaydop (3 times world champion) scored a goal by doing a "Ball Dash"
Awesome @flump you added the ceiling shuffle one of the most unique and crazy freestyle moves I've seen
"il put a link in the description"
That air flick. I did it once by accident in training and have footage of it
I swear i just watched a different video 😂
So when u do a demo next to the ball it pushes it a bit. What if u did that from kickoff into a goal, who would get the goal?
6:23 (the era flick) currently learning this flick, i've gotten a sense on how it's done and should be able to use it in matches soon once i perfect it :)
btw on how it's done, (without the ball) this is done by first jumping then tilting your can back so you nose is to the ground, then level out your car a little then flip forward into the ground, as you do this cancel your flip for about 0.2sec or hold back on the analogue stick the let go right after, your car should bounce back up and do another flip. to do this with the ball its what you did before and your set up should be really close to the front of your car.
other than this, this is as far as i've gotten in learning this flick. after about 30-45min i've gotten 3 successful flicks.

I got reccomended your privated video about 10 things psyonix removed from rl
Why did you privated it
Hey I don’t see the link to the reddit post in the description you mentioned?
9:46 is the weird thing but the videos interesting, good watch
FLuuMP I’ll sub cause you asked, now I will ask you to playing a few rounds with me someday
I just watch your vid of things rocket league changed, lol I think that’s a mistake
Dude , im not interesting about your sub statistic and stuff like that , your intro was way to long , dislike for this...
(Or the moon drop; the feather and the heavy thing recorded falling at same speed)
The only way the ball could catch up the car repeatedly if not by the cars deceleration is by the ball being pulled down faster and the only way this can be true is higher ball gravity than car gravity.
I like your videos far more than any other content creators!
Fluump, I think I may have found how he ( 0:56 ) does that flip. So basically, if you flip forward in rocket league, and as your flipping forward you pull back, it kinda “cancels” your flip, but if you flip, pull back, AND then quickly let go, the flip will reappear giving it that forward jerk motion ( I’m not 100% sure but I tested in out in training and it seems to be how he does it )
The Ball dash i like the Wall dash just in the ball
Interesting question:
If the ball somehow went supersonic from an explosion force (demo or something), what trail color would it have?
6:50 he is perfecting the mechanic horse dashing then he no flips for the flick Edit:U start of a horse dash with a heli jump
The era flick is literally the musty flick
That intro♥️
On the car explosions, if you waych a goal replay, that same lightning bolt that happens when you leave is actually what replaces an explosion, which would lead me to believe that they have the same effect on the ball
6:26 i actually just found out about this on my own. its like a wave dash but you tilt forwards and dodge forwards, then cancel the flip and release the cancel.
So a forward wave dash, dodge and flick
I believe that the clip of fluump doing a kinda wave dash on the ball is similar to the first clip the “infinidash” but in this instance you are air rolling into the upward direction of the ball and wave dashing while on the lower side of the ball thus, after your wave dash on the ball, going up the ball, you slide back down a little bit because of the power slide in between the other dodge and wave dash upward again. But that’s just a thought
