  • In a sea of faces, hers is the one your eyes light upon. It's electric... exhilarating. You've never met, and yet somehow you know her... are drawn to her. Why? Could it be she's been there all along?

    Hey! Found your movie from AMCi Spotlight, and I gotta tell you Chris this film is outstanding! Mad props on writing, directing, producing, and staring in this charming film man. This had so much heart, loved the subtle nuances, and there were some parts that definitely reminded me of finding my wife. Well done man, thank you so much for sharing this!

    Cool flick. My favorite part was when that girl was wiping the spoon.

    I love this film, well done to everyone involved and want to see more from this team. Really want to get into film making, this inspired me to just do it.

    I honestly hope you're going somewhere cause this is beautiful potential. Both of you did great and even better than that is the writing. And on a side note, she is legitimately one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen

      Alex Ostler Thank you for your generous praise, particularly toward the writing; that process was extremely organic and very collaborative, with the actors and editor bringing numerous, great ideas to the table!

    Awwww Chris, this is the most wholesome sweet thing. You really know what you're doing man, and Brian Lemos' track to go along with the visuals is wonderful! I really wish stuff like this played before movies at the theatre, I really do.

    Never thought I would find my self hooked to a silent film, really great story telling, camera angles and shots were great, editing was well done, music was made for this film, fantastic job Chris. if you don't mind me asking how many days of shooting did it take?

    • @ChrisHartwell
      @ChrisHartwell  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed! As per your question... due to the numerous locations, we ended up shooting roughly five days, when all was said and done.

    Dude. I just discovered you through your reviews and I decided to check this out. Usually when people who make great analysed videos about films make short films, they're both pretensious and generic. This was incredible. The whole multi-actor element was very clever and very seamless. The story actually got a bit of an emotional response out of me. The cinetography was great, the acting was great and the overall short film was really creative. I really hope you go places!
