Terry you always give all you have “Got” dear Nephew and because of that Statement you are most definitely “ A Class Act” in every way. Thank you 🙏 so much I am so proud to be your Aunty Beryl. Love and Best Wishes Terry to you and your Family. Regards Aunty!! xx
Terry I am amazed how you fit in wherever you are: a delayed flight in the airport, a 1300 year old church, or a soccer celebration in a pub. Thank you for reminding me of the hymns that I use to sing in Sunday school 80 years ago. Thank you for all of happiness that you bring into the world.
My Mum and my Aunt were the church organists at their respective churches. I became my mums sheet turner when I was able to read music myself. The sound of a church organ always cheers my heart and soul.
Terry's music is the first music I play when I want some music on a Sunday afternoon. These Church Quest Adventures honor the past, inspire, and bring back so many memories. Thank you. 😊
Терри! Я так благодарна тебе, за то, что все мы можем посмотреть такую красоту, и музыку которую ты играешь на органе. Это так все здорово. Пусть Господь благословляет тебя и всю твою семью! ❤🙏
Well done Terry and Eileen , you had a lovely day for it too ! Again the 'locals' must have been almost as camera shy as Eriba Ariba !!! lol let's see the flood of 'Likes & Brians' come in from the catch up viewers please !!
"On the Road Again with Terry Miles" ... what a gift on a Monday old boy. Once again Terry has broken into a church, played the organ, and the police never got called. Well done Terry! Your country is beautiful Terry and we enjoy it when you show it to us. If many of us here in the USA were to formally apologize for that little dumping the tea in the harbor incident in Boston do you think the Queen might let us come back to England? I know where there are three slightly used boats. You should have left the church your Sunday Service CD as a gift. All the Best old boy!
Hello all the way from Emmaus, Pennsylvania USA. It's getting close to Christmas here and my mom passed away close to 3 years ago and the hymn I Will Raise You Up was played at her funeral. Nothing bad against you playing it, it sounded beautiful and made me think of my mom. I was just thinking about her and I came across you playing this. It is amazing how God works. Thank you for your talent and God bless you.
Just back in from-the-fields to find this lovely Church Quest notification!! 😊 Heartfelt 'Thank you' for taking us on a virtual tour of this incredible Sanctuary!! Fantastic carvings of Angels in the rafters as well as beautifully detailed pew-side ornamentations!! Thoroughly enjoyed the selection of Hymns, too, Terry (especially the bit-of-Boogie whilst balancing 'on-the-beam')!! 😊😊🎹🎹⭐⭐👍👍
Boogie woogie on a historic church pipe organ, fancy that! I felt I was pushing my luck playing The Beatles' Yesterday on a church's 1960s Hammond when I was 12.
Just being in this old church is out of this world in all the wonderful details of the woodwork and how it has survived all these years and Terry is there to bring it to life with his knowledge of how an old organ is played to all those who are watching and listening . Good for Terry!!
Terry my friend... you certainly DID pull out all the stops as usual and had yet another organ sounding absolutely fantastic!! (Just caught up on the replay as I was out at the time this premiered). You must be at least a grade 8 standard with your talent! Thoroughly enjoyable mate and I loved your jazzed up version of A Closer Walk With Thee! You are the best piano player by far on TH-cam! - Certainly are for me! You nail it EVERY time!!
Thanku Terry brilliant love what you do , luv Jeny in Australia watching and I miss UK , lived there for 5 yrs , would do anything to go back and stay . Would go back to live in the glorious UK country side ! ♥️ When I did live there I worked for Anthony Snowden at Nymans Gardens . 🙋❤️
Playing the organ pedals wearing outdoor shoes is not showing any respect for the Church at all. Organ shoes which are only ever worn indoors should always be worn so as not to damage the pedals, your feet need to be able to slide on them so you need to keep them highly polished and only wear clean suede or leather soled shoes. If he did this to the organs in our Churches he would be gettig a bill to have the pedals repolished.
Well this makes a change, Terry! Good to give it a blow out and teach the old organ something other than hymns. I’d LOVE to hear you play dambusters March on a church organ. Great video as always! Keep well friend
This video is a wonderful representation of the Miles family magic. Sensitive playing of the church organ well chosen track from the 'Terry's Sunday Service' cd.........and such thoughtful and interesting filming throughout. A poignant focus at the end, of the headstone of someone who was in the Nursing Service.......... 💖💖👏👏🎶🎵🎶🎵🥀🥀💐💐🌌🌌🌌🎆🎆🎆🌄🌄
Terry hii you. Fantastic this old lovely cursch , very sweet. But you musiic its beautiful.⛪☄☄ You hawe wondeful old treasures there like these churses and much more to admire. Indeed. Thanks again for your wonderful musiic Terry.👌💕⭐Byee and see again. Be well to Eriba and Elsie. See boogie best🍺🍺🍺🍺🤚🍮🤚😄🎼🎼🎼🌏
After I read the title and listened to the introduction outside of the church, I was expecting a tracker organ, but the date on the dedication name plate would point to electro-pneumatic. This is my first time to see a video in this series, so I don't know if the absence of any description of the featured organs is the norm.
I wish I could nominate Terry for the OBE! I wonder if the Queen ever takes notice of what a great ambassador Terry is for the UK and the Christian Faith.
I'm jealous of Britain. The churches don't have a single beggar. The ancient cult buildings are empty, but open to everyone. A huge instrument, an organ, is available to everyone. But no one comes to mind to go into the temple and chop it up with an axe for firewood. In Russia, not only the organ would have been stolen, but the church itself would have been disassembled into bricks at once and sold. And Terry is very grateful for the reminder of British musical culture. And not only.
Mu uncle recently passed and he has a large pipe organ in his house. He built an addition for it. Now we are trying to pass it on to someone. I have a video of someone playing it on my TH-cam channel.
It may be a 13th. century church but most certainly NOT a 13th. century organ. It looks like they've spent quite a lot of money on that instrument in the not-too-distant past, so if it's not in near tip-top condition someone should be asking a few questions.
Terry you always give all you have “Got” dear Nephew and because of that Statement you are most definitely “ A Class Act” in every way. Thank you 🙏 so much I am so proud to be your Aunty Beryl. Love and Best Wishes Terry to you and your Family. Regards Aunty!! xx

Nice knowing the history whilst listening to lovely peaceful music. Nice video Terry
thanks Mr +Mrs Miles that was excellent
The songs probably weren't too long when the church was built... someone had to pump the bellows to provide the air pressure for the pipes.
Thank you what a beautiful sound!
Fabulous Terry thank you
