There are 9 members here but Jessica left the group some time ago (she's the one that says the english line "let's bring it back to 140" later in the song) so now there are only 8 members. Nice reaction - this mv is the most popular one for international fans but it's not quite as popular as some of their others with the Korean fans. It's choreographed by Nappytabs (Napoleon and Tabitha from So You Think You Can Dance). It's definitely unusual for a Kpop song because of all the changes - and it has far more "rap" than any other Girls Generation song. In Korean Girls Generation is known as SNSD, so you will see those initials for GG as well. Altogether Girls Generation has around 50 music videos (several for Japan - they are extremely popular there as well). Btw - the girl you really noticed - Sunny (with the different colored hair) - her nickname is Sunny Bunny - she is the niece of the chairman of the Entertainment company - ironically she is often the least popular member of the group (but they are all adorable)

Its a 9 member Girl group originally, after mr mr jessica leave to pursue her fashion career. After the 10th year(holiday and allnight) another 3 members leave SM but is still in the group (tiffany, sooyoung, Seohyun)
From oldest to youngest:
Taeyeon: Leader, main vocalist, recently the face of the group. She’s an ajjumma and a home buddy(someone who stays at home) does musical and tons of OSTs
Jessica: Lead vocalist. Nicknamed ice princess. Act cold but actually cares(tsundare 1). Hates to do outdoor stuff and love to sleep. Not athletic. But does her best. Does musical and has her own fashion brand
Sunny: Lead vocals. Named aegyo queen(cute queen) smol. Like the smallest of the group but one of the strongest and competetive af, can basically do anything (be funny, acting, dancing, singing, being an MC. . if you watch invincible youth she can catch a chicken) the smartest. She has been in tons of variety shows(my bias). Does musical and variety shows
Tiffany: lead vocals. She has this cali vibe. Afraid of bugs, has an eye smile. Talk so much . . . Like a lot. She cant forget stuff and will feel sorry or traumatised is she offended you(the burger incident with sooyoung) will save time for you even if shes busy(she helped sooyong with the concert for a cause)does musical
Hyoyeon: main dancer, main rapper (they dont have a rapper before until the song You Think) the dancing machine. The older she is the prettier she gets. Was okay being called princess fiona by the members(from shrek) until she learned that the princess wasn’t pretty. Is fckn savage, will roast you. Funny as hell. She clueless. Does dancing shows/competition for celebs like hit the stage and so you think you can dance?
Yuri: lead dancer, sub vocals. Have a nice body. Natural tanned skin which earn her the nickname black pearl. Is a certified diver. Member said that she is the pretties when she is swimming. Makes funny faces. Does acting
Sooyoung: lead dancer, sub vocals. Is the tallest. Has a heart of gold. Will talk harshly but cares a lot(tsundere 2) rocks the short hair. Rocks the Long hair. Cares a lot. Has an annoying aegyo. Also gives her time to her friends. Does acting and the face of some cosmetic company
Yoona: lead dancer, Sub vocals, the face of the group. Is sweet. Cried when she forgot to mention her members(snsd) to her acceptance of awards. Is strong, carried their stuff around the dorm when all the members move in. The actress of the group(she is the first once who got into acting) does acting and tons of CFs
Seohyun: lead vocals, maknae(youngest)
Health freak, tells you not to eat the good stuff(burger) because it will kill you. Will probably date a potato rather than men. (Even if she dated someone if you watch knowing brothers it was revealed there)

And just a little intro to the girls - they didn't have rappers when they first debuted, it's just as time goes on they changed their concept so the rapper thing happened, so now Hyoyeon is the main rapper, other members such as Sooyoung, Yuri will occasionally rap. Fandom name is Sone - pronounced as 'saw-won' 소원, not 'sone', meaning Soshi and Sones are one, 소원 also means a wish. Main vocal is Teayeon, also the leader. lead vocalists include Tiffany, Seohyun and Jessica (when she was still in the group). TTS (TaeTiSeo) is a sub unit which includes three vocal line members. Jessica left the group in 2014. Mr Mr is the last song they promoted as OT9. People speculated that she was actually kicked out of the group instead of her leaving because she is starting her own fashion business although SM claimed the otherwise (because money, SM is a company who only cares about money, if Jessica has her own business SM can't benefit from it and yes I hate this company so much yet they produce so much talents). Another famous incident about SNSD is the Black Ocean Incident (Dream Concert 2008), basically was a fan war against SNSD that had gone so bad that the entire audience except Sones turned off their light sticks and not making a single cheering sound during their 10 minute performance. It was not until they put out Gee and Genie a little later in 2009 SNSD became LIT AF in Korea and the world that they became the Nation's Girl Group.
