Sai sets foot (quite literally) as we talk about promotion, breakups and get absolutely hyped, as usual. This one is for your New Year resolution ‘I’m going to get fit’ playlist - killing beat guaranteed. Zozo shares a personal story about how being yourself can be cool while Fu give her all the facts needed off-camera.

Still my favorite SNSD video ever.
This was the video that told the Kpop world "Rumors of SNSD's demise have been greatly exaggerated."
And actually, this song wasn't a comeback in the slightest. It was simply a gift to their Japanese fans for filling the Tokyo Dome, which is why they never promoted this.
I’m not sure if this was supposed to be a BIG comeback in Korea. I can’t remember really.
BUT, I do know that this track was released and created for their Japanese fans because at the time they were really promoting in Japan and had an upcoming tour (they had recently released The Best album, Indestructible, and Divine, all in Japan).
But yeah, this MV (while it was really just released as a gift to the fans) was heavily shrouded in Jessica controversy.
Still gotta hail my queens, my one and only bias group 🙌🙌
(p.s. I was blessed with the opportunity of seeing SNSD at Kcon NY, even tho it was after Sica left 😭😭)

The choreography in this MV is simply amazing! I don't really like girl group videos because the choreography is either too spicy or too cutesy, but this is really good. I am aware that not all girl groups are like that and I try to get to know more groups though!
Also this concept is... interesting.

Recently put this song on my phone and I was scared listening to it driving. I clenched the steering wheel and repeat, 60, 60 , go 60. Don't fuck around go 60! What a crazy song. Top 3, This one, Paparazzi, Genie. Holy moly.

Well, actually this wasn't a comeback, catch me if you can was just a gift single for the fans, they din't even had tv promotions. Only mv and song release. Despite that, and the fact that it was their first song after Sica's departure, they did really good on music charts, both japanese and korean. You know, the usual, slayshidae :)

great reaction... (and subscribed) GG got me first interested into K-Pop with Gee. But it was "I Got A Boy" and "Catch Me If You Can" which got me really excited about KPop and Girl Groups (because i'm not a big fan of overly "cutesy" songs) ... I aggree, this song is criminal underrated. Today I'm obsessed with Blackpink (and i see some similarities in their concepts with these specific songs from GG). GG will always have a special place in my heart.

SM actually re-shot this whole video after ejecting Jessica. Her vocals are still in it, sometimes lipsynced by another member, sometimes glossed over in the choreo. The Japanese-language version still has her dancing in it.

Her voice is pretty distinctive. Taeyeon, doing the same solo and singing the same notes would sound a little different, a little more resonant. Jessica (and her sister Krystal) share that clear (almost thin) tone that can cut across the other voices like nothing else (when not working on blending). I'm going by my ear, I'm a long-time singer myself so it's pretty good. Do you have a specific information source?
You're saying some really wierd stuff. Jessica's vocals are NOT in the track, girls rerecorded the whole song and her parts were sang by Yoona, Sunny and others. There's an original CMIYC video with Jessica in it (low quality) and you can hear her voice there. Not here obviously.

I agree with Ildi and the other commentator. Catch Me If You Can is amazing and underrated. After watching yall's Suju marathon (part 1, right?.. where's part 2..lol) I feel that Ben doesn't like the EDM style songs.
