This song takes a different angle of the tragedy Sia brings in her song and Madilyn brings it out in her own way. It sounds like the soul of someone who's loved one has just died and is learning to embrace it and the grief is larger than life and you're brought into that world of mourning in this song.
I get so frustrated reading comments about Madilyn using AutoTune. If you had been a fan of hers from the beginning, you would know that this is all her! Her voice sounds exactly the same as when she just sat in front of her computer and sang with her guitar. Sure, the sound quality is better now that she's recording in a studio, but her voice is just as real as it was from the beginning. So many artists AutoTune these days that people just assume everyone who sounds good is doing it, too. NOPE! Raw talent still exists, people!!

Finally! It took me years to find a good version of this song. You nailed it! Sia sings so off notes that i can't stand hearing it, but you hit all the notes!!!

She sounded beautiful when she was 17 in her first video, and she didn’t have a fancy recording studio or anything to auto tune her voice. The only reasons why she sounds different from then are because she has practiced a lot more, she uses studios and better microphones now, and she uses small voice EFFECTS like echoes and small things to make it sound even prettier. If you don’t like it then whatever 😐

Sia is an amazingly talented and humble artist. This young lady has done an amazing job, but out of respect to Sia and her song I cannot say it's better.
