I've personally never heard anyone sing with more emotion than Sia, everything she sings comes from the heart.
I would recommend her acoustic versions.
+1337Figaro Sure I will try em. And what I said was that she cant get emotions across. Music is about voice only. And her voice doesnt get emotional. She has had an emotional past I agree. And her lyrics tell wonderful stories and her videos are full of hidden meanings. But her voice doesn't have the passion that Madilyn shows in some of her covers. Listen to her cover of Chandelier by Sia. Listen to the 123 123 drink part among others. Thats beautiful emotion with her voice breaking.
Omar Kiyani I've listened to most of Madilyns covers and I love them. Madilyn is an excellent singer with a voice that make me shiver. Yet I personally believe Sia to be the number one artist when it comes to both emotions, lyrics, style etc... Her music has helped me through some pretty tough times and I've become a bit of Sia fanboy. Also I don't really agree with music being about voice only (since I'm a Piano player myself) but I do respect your opinion and Madilyn has one of the best voices within the TH-cam music community.

Tell me about... lol These Sia vocals always give me a run for my money BUT I LOVE the challenge!!! I always grow as a vocalist then I cover her songs!!!
You can sing this song in a lower key :)
Also a tip, original version ( as most Sia songs ) are produced snappy
with no discernible reverb, I know, it's hard to make a piano cover in a dancing pop style but it's possible. What I would do is mic up the physical room with 2 x active mics ( mic the room and not the instruments ) add zero fx, lower the key, increase tempo by 5 % and dance, but that's me :) Btw. I'm a music producer lost to time, greatly admire your Internet album, keeping things real and the albums inspiration to children is emotional @@MadilynBailey

Oh geez people responded to this. 0.0 uhhh the song didn't just come out, it was in the Catching Fire album for the second Hunger Games movie that came out in November 2013. The music video however just came out recently. (pretty much what the others said.)

But it's also my right to say bad taste, when you can't hear the difference between a fantastic singer and a less good singer like Madilyn.
