2021 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup Highlights - Round 6 Barcelona

The 2021 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup went right down to the wire between Iker Garcia Abella and Julian Giral, with the championship title only being decided at the last corner on the final lap. We won't spoil it by telling you which of the two Spaniards was victorious, but the racing was as close as ever in Barcelona, which was a fitting way to bring to a close what has been an incredible first season for the Yamaha R3 bLU cRU European Cup. Congratulations to the winner, who will step up to WorldSSP300 with a fully supported ride in 2022 and big thanks to all the riders who made the series such a success. Registration for the 2022 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU Cup will open on 6th October.

A penalty decides the championship but this is not so important as to see in this sumary.

The penalty is mentioned at the end of Race 1. Magny-Cours Race 1 was more pivotal for the championship than the five-point loss in Barcelona.
