That's the way it's done. That's the perfect resto mod on a four-eye. Fantastic job!

Hell yeah man gotta save it!!! I’m restoring a 1985 T-Top coupe with capri fenders and it has a rusted thru floor pan and some in the trunk and in the engine bay and cowl but I’m replacing and welding all new stuff in and gonna make this car have another chance at life on the street again👍🏻👍🏻

Thankfully someone willing and skilled enough to repair a fox with some strut tower and frame rail rot. 99% of people these days would have parted, cut up and thrown away a car like this thinking that was the only option. Pains me to think about how many foxes ended up that way. Clearly this is the better choice. My "want to save them all" attitude thanks you. Great job!

3 year build. Not sure I would do it again. Turned out great for being built in a driveway

Not all foxes are t top notch cars. This would be a lot of work for an LX that might be worth 15 grand at the end of the day. Like most things in life, it has to be worth the effort.

One of the coolest FOR SURE! Love the low 79 door releases. IMO it needs more exotic wheels to match the build, ex. FORGELINES or HRE's.....CCW's

Just curious. But I got to say I love it. But my question is how much was the total build from start to finish? My favorite year is a 82 or 83 I'm going to build one again one day.

Sold it for 35 in 2020 had more in it. A cheap coyote swap is at least 25k. It depends how far you want to go

How did you get the ac box in there? Is that a newer 86 dash? I have a 81 t top coupe as well that I’ll be restoring

Used dash and heater box from an 82. Real black dash not painted.

Wonder how much that costs to do that, 30k?
