I just don't get it, last ford escape 2016 had leds in the back lights ( or something similar), why is this new model not offering those leds??????

Zabfe, although having LED taillights would be awesome, there were no special upgrades to the taillights in 2016. The 2017 models have a new design, but use the same kind of lights as the 2016s. Hopefully, this helps! Thanks for commenting!

Took a serious look at the Escape while shopping for a new SUV, no question it was a nice vehicle, a fully loaded Titanium model.
I certainly got a rude awakening when I compared the top of the line Nissan Rogue to the Escape. A fully loaded Rogue SL was ( in my opinion ) a much better buy, it certainly was finished much better than the Escape and much more comfortable.
Price difference was incredible ( the Nissan was thousands less than the Ford ).

The rogue has a very very cheap plastic interior. Just throwing in some leather seats doesn't change that. And the engine is terrible. Slow as balls!

You certainly are entitled to your opinion, in a recent survey regarding consumer satisfaction the facts were the SL Rogue was much higher than the Escape Titanium in every category. Again it's all about opinions, I certainly don't agree that the engine is " terrible " as you put it. As far as engine reliability is concerned the Nissan again finished much higher than the Ford. Balls ? whatever that means ! the 2.5 engine is more than sufficient for my driving needs no doubt it wouldn't suit you. Also under no circumstances was the Ford Escape Titanium worth seven thousand dollars more than the Nissan Rogue not a chance in hell ! ,,, have a nice day !!

looks great in a titanium level of equipment. I live in Perú, in south America. I 'll wait to buy it very soon.

Is the 2017 Escape towable 4 wheels down?

Escapes actually have to be towed on a flatbed in order to not damage the transmission.
