The melody line of this song and Jay Kay's interpretation are superb. And the musicians are at the top , as usual. All in finesse. We can't get enough of it.
The band is amazing and Jamiroquai has a very 'rich' organic sound on this album. I think Jay Kay doesn't get enough credit for being such an amazing vocalist. This is a hard song to sing.
People always think they own an artist or band. ''RIP JAMIROQUAI, YOU WILL NEVER BE AS GOOD AS YOU WERE!'' Come on. They are musicians. Give them a break, they are not making music for you, they are doing it for themselves, you just happen to listen to it.
although jay is sick, i dont think enough of the media coverage is given to rob, derrick, paul, matt or sola. dont forget that they make up 95% of the pure excellence that come from those studios and stages
@beatz04 The audio is live, the video is shot from carefully placed cameras from multiple angles. You'll notice that all of the cameras are on one side of the room. There are varying levels of zoom, some of them are distorted to remove the other cameras from the shot. Basically, the audio is totally live, but the video is very carefully edited after the recording to give the best series of shots possible. Obviously some of the video is not in the right order in terms of the audio but it is live!
How can they shoot all these close ups from a zillion angles without any camera guy ever be visible ? Conclusion: While the audio of the songs may have been recorded live, the video portion clearly must have been recorded at a later time and the synced with the audio. So it's not really "live".
@jamiroquai01fan Sorry no.It's not just different angles + zoom. Most of the shots show the picture slightly shaking meaning the camera wasn't on a tripod but a camera guy holding it.No static shots. But that wouldn't have been possible if everything was shot live in one go.You at least would see a cam guy or two at times.Especially as this is not a big stage but a rather narrow room.So audio might or probably is live, video isn't.
que buena rola abla de uqe una embra lo salba de la soledad pero nada me identifico con jay kay por que no em caso todavia y tengo 28 aunque jay kay tiene 45 y no se casa
R.I.P. Jamiroquai (as we knew it with Smith, Dodd, Katz, Desire, & last but not least, Zender). Your funk will not be forgotten but not be experienced anew anymore... To quote a line from the classic American SITCOM "Good Times," "Damn," "DAmn" "DAMN!!!!" :-(
Wow.... This is soooooo not the Jamiroquai that captured my attention 20yrs ago... While I agree an artist must change the style to keep "in the know," this (in my opinion) is just not what the "Jamiroquai Concept" was founded on. :-( *Sigh* All good things must end... Thank goodness for older videos... *sniff* *sniff*
RDLS is the most underrated Jamiroquai album.

This is the best song of the whole album! Lifeline♥

@beatz04 duh it's right what you're saying but come on is live because they were playing at that moment with real instruments
@matako07 i wouldnt wanna hear just one instrument from the band play, its how it comes together
