    Just to add on: Maximum towing with Tremor package is 2000 lbs. Max tow package is not available on the Tremor.

      Good add on. I usually break down which trims can/can't have it and missed that in this video

    Good review. Is there any chance in your reviews could you get a shot of the entire vehicle? It is all close ups which is good, but it is hard to get a sense of what it all actually looks like. Otherwise I enjoyed it good info.

    A great review! A personal preference here, or maybe just a note? My Explorer has the door handle sensors in front of where you place your hands, instead of towards the back of the door/rearward side of the handle like the Edge or Maverick, and I definitely prefer it in front. Just a matter of personal preference due to the number of times I have locked my wife's Edge while trying to get into it.

      Thanks Louis! Interesting little highlight with the door handle sensor. Never thought of pointing out that small detail when I'm showing it off

    Well, I would like a Maverick Lightning Tremor
    but would settle for a Hybrid Tremor.

      Ah if only you could get the hybrid with the Tremor pack.. A Lightning Tremor would be pretty sweet though!

    I’m waiting for them to get smart and make it a rear wheel main drive with electric front drive. That with a small adjustment in the transmission will greatly increase towing capacity while also giving you 4 wheel drive and the hybrid.

    • @CarsWithSteve

      Huh.. That would be an interesting change the powertrain. Are there any cars/trucks out there with that setup right now?

    • @wildcaveman5310

      @@CarsWithSteve not that I know of but the only reason it wouldn’t work is there are some minor details they have yet to figure out. The benefits are far too good to ignore. I assumed they were intentionally sitting on the concept to be released in a newer model to get the consumer to upgrade and maximize sales.

    How much is monthly payment on zero down?

    • @CarsWithSteve

      Depends on how the truck is built out, how long you finance it for and your credit. But let’s say you have good credit and choose to go for this exact build you’d be looking at roughly:
      Canada:
      $1,000/month for 60 months
      $900/month for 72 months
      USA:
      $840/month for 60 months
      $720/month for 72 months
      I wouldn’t recommend longer financing options right now because of higher interest rates

    Too much. Confused beyond the pale. Which has better off road, Maverick or Gladiator?

    • @CarsWithSteve

      What was confusing about the info I covered? Maverick Tremor vs Gladiator is an interesting comparison. Gladiator would have better true off-road capability, more towing, option for larger tires whereas the Maverick Tremor would have a smaller turning radius and be cheaper on fuel. So which way you go will depend on what you're planning on doing

    • @philc.352

      @@CarsWithSteve Your vid was good. It's the vehicles/options that confuse me. I like the maverick for its fuel economy and ability to carry household items like washers, dryers and so forth but I just don't know if the all wheel drive is any better in the snow vrs. The front wheel drive. I guess I'm just going to go test drive one. Thanks for replying!

    • @CarsWithSteve

      You should see some newer Mercedes models.. the amount of tech is wild.
      All wheel drive will perform better than front wheel drive in the winter time but if you have a good set of winter tires you'll be ok with FWD. The Maverick Tremor is only AWD and so is the Gladiator. The 4x4 system in the Gladiator is more off-road capable than the Maverick Tremor though

    You can’t get the hybrid with the tremor
    In fact, you can’t get 4WD with the hybrid which is BS

    • @CarsWithSteve

      Nope.. the hybrid and Tremor components wouldn't go together but the 4wd with the hybrid should definitely be available otherwise. The Escape which is built on the same platform has it so there's no reason this shouldn't as well

    • @CarsWithSteve

      Fully loaded, taxes in it's $60k but you can go with the XLT Tremor for about $12k less. Still a high number but off-road capable vehicles need a bit more compared to regular street rides
