Avril Lavigne joins the Encanto cast in my latest mix 'Complicated Pressure'. It features Avril Lavigne's hit single 'Complicated' from her debut album 'Let Go' and 'Surface Pressure' from the soundtrack of the Disney film 'Encanto'. 'Surface Pressure' is my favourite song from the Encanto soundtrack and Luisa is also my favourite character. After receiving the positive reaction from my 'We Don't Talk About Bruno Mars' mashup I thought I'd do a follow up! I tried to make it seems as if Avril Lavigne was responding to Luisa acting strange and asking her to chill out and relax. I love how this mix came out! Let me know your thoughts in the comments. Haha, I have an inner mashup library in my head. Joseph James mixed surface pressure with bad blood, I loved it so much I wanted to create a Surface pressure mix. I know Bad Blood goes with We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I've mixed WANEGT with Complicated in the past and when I hummed Complicated in my head I realised I could work some of those lyrics into a story with Surface pressure. It's very weird I know 😂
I found this video because I started singing Surface Pressure while cleaning the kitchen and Complicated popped into my head, especially during the "whole lot longer" part. Then I thought, "what if...someone already made it..." so I found this. Thank you! Fantastic stuff
This is so good!! They flow flawlessly into eachother, especially the chorus (the pitch change 😍) and the bridge with the "no, no, no"s :D To top it all off, the inclusion of Complicated's guitar tied it all together at the end. Great work :D I'm going to be listening to this a lot
