Tara gum (from same plant) is in a lot of foods and makes me sick. When I was a kid, it started to be put into foods as a thickener... I figured this out when Breyers ice cream became trash and added tara gum and would make me sick... and I saw that ingredient and figured it out... tested it by eating other foods with tara gum and had the same malaise and gut issues
